Generally I am ok with Mexican kitchen, not me best though, went with a large group so tried many dishes, Fajita was really good and shrimp too, a small friendly family business that’s what I mostly like about it

Border MX was a pretty decent restaurant with a great atmosphere and the staff were very nice and kind. The only issue was that we had to wait over 40 minutes for our appetizers and 1 hour for our entrees due to the kitchen being busy despite the restaurant not being very full. We ordered all the vegetarian dishes that they offered ( chimichanga, enchiladas, burrito and nachos) and the flavors were good with the only downside of the spice level was very bland and was a striking...

While the food itself was enjoyable, we were left disappointed with the service and some issues that felt misleading when it came to billing. Service was very slow, it took a long time for our order to be taken, for water to arrive, and for drinks to be served. Our appetizers actually came before our drinks, and I had to remind the server about my order. We also ran into inconsistency with the menu: we ordered two cauliflower tacos, but were told there was only enough for one...
