Super amazing European grocery store with a wide selection of products including high quality fresh meats. They serve homemade European food for lunch fresh daily at amazing prices. The people are friendly and helpful. Maple free parking located off Dundas street. We have visited many occasions and are always happy with our purchases, highly recommend.

We always enjoy stocking up on our favourite European goods here. Do not make the mistake we made and try to eat an early lunch (11 am). We got the parmesan schnitzel which was very obviously not fresh. Possibly it was prepared yesterday. The tomato sauce was extremely over seasoned and tasted like ketchup or canned pizza sauce. The roasted potatoes were horrendous, definitely 3 or 4 days old. As we were leaving we saw trays of freshly cooked schnitzel. They told us that it would be a 30 minute wait. We should have waited or gone elsewhere.

Purchased course liver sausage from local grocer, sliced pieces onto sandwich. When bit into sandwich there was a good size, 3/4 in. of bone imbedded in the meat. Thankfully did not swallow or pierce inside of mouth. We have always purchased Brandt

Wonderful experience. Every year it is tradition this time during Xmas and holidays it is always a good experience. The staff at the hot table ☺️ is always serving hot delicious food. Go check it out. They have exquisite types of jams and cheese, chocolate, marzipan, from Europe. Excellent variety and of course the smoked turkey ! Thank thank you for keeping your quality and service . Happy holidays to each one of the staff.

My complaint is not about the food and what the store offers, and my background is German but is with the cashiers and their service. Rude beyond belief, and this is not the first time either. No assistance with bagging, dismissive and clearly not interested in you coming back...even others noticed when we spoke the parking lot. Perhaps management might look at their front line ,especially over the holidays?

The 2 ladys working on 28.11.23 " at the warm lunch food corner " around 2.30 pm have a huge attitude they treat me as a customer very unprofessional not for the first time . I dont wanna change the store bc of the bad behaviors pls someone do talk with them.

I started coming to Brandt’s as a little girl several decades ago. I loved following my father through the store as he picked up all his favourites…from smoked ends to smoked fish, fresh bread rolls, strudel, German butter cheese, herring salat, candy, etc. However, the best part was always the meat/deli counter! That is where I developed my love of lachsschinken, which still exists to this day! My father always gave me a chance to order and he often let me choose a luncheon meat, which I could only describe by the colour of the wrapper! I have so many great memories of the store, especially at Christmas time, with the stollen, the marzipan and the Santa Claus chocolate in tin foil. Even though my father passed away in 2021, I still feel his presence when I go there and it makes me smile. Brandt’s is a family owned business and we are family generational customers - my father, then me and also, now my daughter. I love the store and the fact that they offer fresh, quality products at reasonable prices. A special shout out to the tall gentleman in the white coat - I think he might be the Manager. He is always so pleasant and helpful. We will continue to patronize Brandt’s for years to come. Father would not have it any other way! Thank you to the Brandt family for bringing a taste of home to Canada.

Catered our Oktoberfest event a week ago. Friendly team, quality food, and reasonably priced. The schnitzel was really good. A lot of variety at this European deli. Highly recommended.

Probably the most disgusting food on this desperate planet.Is this supposed to be German food.I don't think so.They would throw this in your face in Germany.The schnitzel was garbage ,worse I have ever tasted.The so called Goulash was a disgusting joke.You can only survive with this kind of food in Toronto.Not in Europe.Shame on you for selling me this inedible slop.Ill be back for my money.Yuck!!!
