Best place ever

The place is pretty run down and chairs are very dirty. The oil used for the deep fry food is old and I have a very upset stomach after eating lunch there. The good side of this place is the bubble tea, mine was quite good. Anyway, I do not think I'll be going back again.

Milk tea is good. It was the coldest drink I’ve ever gotten at any bubble tea/drink place which really surprised me. I feel like I didn’t even need to add ice! I also got a hot milk tea and it was really hot too. I saw the staff heating it up with a steam wand, which is cool.

It’s a bit expensive, though. Toppings aren’t included in any of the drinks and they cost an extra $1. I was excited to try the small tapioca here, but it was softer than I would have liked and not as chewy as I was expecting. It was more like slightly bigger sago. I also didn’t get any tapioca in the hot drink. Either they forgot, or the drink was so hot that it melted it, lol.

Aside from that, staff are really friendly! It’s convenient that it’s right beside the grocery store so I can get a treat afterwards.

The chicken was pretty tender and juicy.

Used to love going to Bubble Republic because they were one of the few places that served food with bubble tea. I tried to go in today after not visiting for a few year & wow I can really say that this place has fallen off. Go elsewhere!

When you go In, you have to pick up the menu from the counter, then go and get your seat.
Their menu has removed over half the items by taping them over (likely due to cost cutting by reducing the menu).

And when I stood up to place my order at the counter, they informed me that if you want the meal deal, you can only get unflavoured basic tea! You can't even pay to add flavor pumps or anything! You must pay full price, on top of the meal price?!?

This place really fell off & between the reduced menu, crazy pricing & reviews of cockroaches, is probably going to shut down soon.

We use to come here and the standards have dropped! The restaurant is soooooooooo dirty. Open top garbage I could smell while standing in line - and when you walk in the chairs (specifically the white ones) are filthy….a health inspector needs to show up there ASAP. Not to mention we waited 10 minutes in a short line and another 10 minutes just to get our drinks ($17 for 2) - 20 minutes the service is slow and there are better Bubble tea places down the road. 2 stars because the drinks were tasty, but not worth it especially with seeing how the place looks nasty.

Not really sure what happened to this place, it used to be my favourite bubble tea spot a few years ago and was quite disappointed, thay often dont have stock of ingredients and barely any variety. They used to be the best but now they’re just a dime a dozen.

Save your money, go to literally any other place

Great mom and pop bubble tea spot! The drinks are classic Taiwanese bubble tea that tastes exactly like it would on the streets. The seats are the classic folding chairs which makes it better. Support them!

Bubble tea is good

Came here for breakfast and was so disappointed with it. Imagine no salt and pepper or ketchup or jam !!!! (Had to ask). But no jam still Ordered extra toast which had no butter or Marg. Seems like they are trying to make cuts every possible way.

Something did not taste right and I did not enjoy it at all! The sausages did not seem fully cooked.

It used to be a great place to hang out, great daily special, and some free magazines at the front for customers to read. Now the interior looks very old and needs an update. Their bubble tea are good, don't get me wrong. But a bit disappointed to know they don't have dairy alternatives like oat milk or almond milk. Price has gone up and even daily special seems expensive. However, the food from Breakfast Inn is still tasty.

The reason for two stars is the bug thajust t roaming around our table. You can see it in the picture and video. Terrifying.

Chicken wing is under cooked and the waitress said it’s the sauce. Come on. See it yourself. And all foods are salty.

I love their oreo milk tea.
