Great vibe for some Portuguese style food
Cashier not knowledgeable in food they were selling also slow service.
Great cake and delicious sandwiches
It is 7 years I order cakes for my all events from here.Mostly I order costume cake which they always make perfect. On 25.05.25 I had two cakes from here for birthday and baby shower both were amazing .exactly what i I asked .love thus place.
Neighborhood dine in with good Portuguese bakes. Sadly the birthday cake we ordered wasn't nice at all, definitely not a great place to order birthday cakes.
Walked in today and bought some queijadas and fresh Santa Maria Cheese. Everything was very affordable and a genuinely good price. The queijadas were very nice especially the orange queijada. I was served by a young man named Jaden and he was very polite, personable, and very quick. I had excellent service and very nice food.
Food and coffee were okay. Girl working the cash with the long braid should never interact with customers. You need to fire this girl or hide her in the back where her attitude can’t be seen. This was the worst customer service experience I’ve had in years. She had absolutely no patience as we were deciding what to order and seemed to try to make things more difficult. Spoke to us in English but insisted on us ordering in Portuguese. Spoke to us in a super condescending tone and didn’t understand basic instructions. Does not have basic customer service skills or even basic human decency. We will not be back, I’d rather spend money in a place that acts like they want us there.
This bakery consistently delivers exceptional service and delicious baked goods. A standout feature is their welcoming staff and delightful offerings, such as the popular steak sandwich and the exclusive Friday treat, Portuguese Caldo Verde soup. The presence of accessible parking and spacious seating cater to customers with disabilities, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive experience for all patrons. Additionally they sell some international groceries to cater for the Brazilian and Portuguese community

On November 9th, around 5 p.m., I went to the bakery and was attended by a woman named Nicol. Unfortunately, my experience was quite negative. From the start, she spoke to me in a rude and unprofessional manner, not only to me but also to her colleagues. Additionally, I got the impression that, because I spoke to her in Spanish, she had a discriminatory attitude. Although I tried to communicate in English, I felt uncomfortable because of the way she treated me, as if my English wasn’t “good enough” or “correct.” The attitude towards customers was very dismissive, and I believe it’s important to have a team that provides respectful and friendly service, especially in such a diverse environment. I think the inclusion of Spanish-speaking staff could greatly improve customer service, especially for those who are not fluent in English.

I come here all the time, never saw so many turn over of employees they are not treat good, or not paid well under staff, and the prices is crazy how high they went, going samewhere else cheaper, greednes will cost you customer when we are supporting your business since you open, the corporation should be thankful, there is other bakeries cheaper, and very friendly people, you can tell it is not a pleasant place to work either, I feel sorry for them, always in training , because of people lieving, you put all this together go samewhere else, lots of them in Mississauga.

This place used to be good, cakes and pastries these days are often left for days stale.
Horrible quality standards for food in this place. worth driving to Toronto to another location.

Nicole and Jaiden were absolutely amazing. Very friendly, and their hospitality even though we only ordered a sandwich and some pastries was phenominal. Thank you for making our experience great, my boyfriend and I will definitely be back!

Very disappointing experience with the Quality and Freshness ! Ordered 2 Tiramisu Pastries for Takeout. They were not Fresh and Tasted Stale (Old). The Quality and Taste were was of poor Quality in that it they were Very Dry when instead we expected them to be Light and Moist. The Cream filling and topping tasted like Cheap Freezer Style sugar icing instead of Fluffy Coffee Flavoured Cream.
We also purchased two Apple Strudel which we will report on when it comes time to sampling them.
2/10 Quality
3/10 Freshness
4/10 Taste
3/10 Value for Money ($4.80 ea)
Not the same Quality we’ve come to expect from Caldense Bakery and they’re just around the corner
