California Sandwiches

I use to enjoy California sandwiches, they were so good once upon a time! The last few times I've gotten veal sandwiches here, they were like eating rubber, you could clearly see they were overcooked by how burnt the breadcrumbs were and how tough the veal was. We asked for extra sauce so they gave us less sauce. There just wasn't any flavor at all to this sandwich. For a place that specializes in " sandwiches" I was pretty disappointed! Never again

Go here often, last time ordered a chicken sandwich with the sauce on the side. They charged me extra!!! How cheap can you get. I just wanted the sauce on the side so the bread would not be falling apart by the time I got home.

I believe this location should have more 5 star reviews. It’s utterly amazing. the sandwich is always soooo thick of chicken i can barely hold it. Soooo fresh and the amount of sauce is always right. Please yall listen when i tell you to get a sandwich from this location. I promise it’s worth it.

The chicken sandwich was good with eggplant and cheese. Unfortunately, the tiramisu was stale, so I had to throw it away. The price and quality weren't well-balanced.

This girl, Shanavi B, is an absolute gem! Her exceptionally charming personality and warm approach to customers make this place feel extraordinaire. The food here is always amazing, but Shanavi's upbeat attitude and genuine care take the experience to the next level.

This place changed owners and went downhill! The new owners have no idea how to make Italian food, the meat in the sandwich was rock hard. So gross! Never going to this location again

Great spot to stop when you're out this way. Big fans of the original little Italy location, we've tried Warden as well as the Pearson spot too. Nice to see standards holding up! Keep up the great work

First time at this location, and brought back so many memories from the OG on Claremont when I was a kid. Veal sandwiches are tender and delicious. Customer service excellent. When in the area, definitely come back for others.

The sandwich at this location tastes like the original location downtown. I was skeptical thinking it would not taste the same.

Parking: Location of restaurant is in an odd corner making it difficult to go north on Winston Churchill Blvd once you leave. However, there are U-turn options on Dundas Street to help.

Realy bad bad service...I ask for fresh olive not from the box what they have from yesterday
..she say ok np ....when I look she grab the old and give to me ....then I ask... I tall u I want fresh olives ..they she start talking to me back and be really roud ...bad service....if I ask for fresh olives why she train give me old olives...she shut not working there ....
