It’s alright.

Like all airport food, it can be a tad pricey but then again it’s a nice place to sit and relax before heading off for your flight.

Staff is a little choppy but it’s fine.

Had a great meal here while at YYZ, it's expensive but the food was very good.

This is the only redeeming place in Toronto Pearson airport. In a place that feels like you’re in Dante’s inferno navigating the seven circles of hell, caplanskys is like an angelic voice guiding you to safety. The food is very tasty, I wish they sold their pickles in store. The fries are seasoned very nicely and the sandwiches are absolutely amazing.

Pre-flight breakfast. Food was fresh and hot, service seemed impersonal and not too friendly. A good place to sit close to the gates.

Smoke meat sandwich was great. Meat cooked perfectly. The southern fried chicken was also very crispy.

Family stopped for a quick bite, good food at the airport but it was the service that made the experience 5*. Best waitress we’ve had in a very long time, Sumajee (Sue) was excellent!

Stopped in for a classic breakfast — just two eggs, toast, and a latke. Not sure what I was expecting, but the experience fell short. At 4:30 a.m., service was inattentive; my order took time simply to be taken, with my meal dropped off, and the server didn’t return until half an hour later to ask if I was ready for the bill. Perhaps that’s typical for an airport location, but if this were a street-side restaurant, I wouldn’t be returning. I’m rarely at the airport, but based on this visit, I’ll be skipping this spot next time.

I wish I'd taken pictures, but what a positive experience. In the end, I asked for tea and got a larger than normal metal teapot filled with steaming hot water and English Breakfast teabag and cup, well, it was perfect. It topped off the pea soup, the Caplansky burger, and latkes we gobbled up! Service was exceptional!!

Surprisingly not bad at all for airport food. Pastrami sandwich was up to par with any other restaurant! They have an assortment of mustards which is awesome. Poutine was average, but cabbage soup was great! Nothing better than a good soup while travelling.
