I'm really torn between a 4/5 and a 5/5 for this spot. I've been a few times and I will continue to come back. Here's my dilemma:
The mustards they sell are arguably the best. I love their mustards (the ballpark and the old fashioned) - I get them every time I'm in YYZ.
At the same time, I typically get a smoked meat sandwich. I remember years ago, their sandwich was amazing. Good value (for the airport), good quality meat and overall it was a really tasty sandwich.
More recently, I'm not sure what's changed, but the sandwich doesn't knock my socks off anymore. The overall experience is definitely worse, but I can't put my finger on exactly what's changed.
With that said, I'll still continue to come back for the mustards - but I'll likely pass on the sandwich moving forward.

Had a meal here just before our flight and it was great. Everything was decently priced especially for being in the airport and all the dishes we ordered were super tasty with great portion sizes! They also have an assortment of mustards to eat with your meal and would recommend trying all of them as they were all delicious!

I visited this cafe for the first time recently. Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish my meal — the bean soup tasted unexpectedly sour. This was very unusual and not what I’m used to for a bean soup. The flavor was quite unfamiliar to me.

TODAY I LEARNT FISH HAVE BONES IN THEM. My bfs mum ordered a smoked salmon bagel but there's so many bones in it . We told the waitress whom took the dish and went back to the kitchen, just for her to come back and say it's NORMAL, FISH HAVE BONES TOO! Honestly save your money. Don't let them snatch your money $$$$$

Best airport meal I’ve ever had. Appreciate the homemade fries. Enjoyed every bite of the sandwich and the fries. 100% recommend next time you’re at Pearson
I had the burger, wife had Turkey Rubenesque, both were delicious. We were almost scared off because they had no kids meals but they do, it’s just not on the hallway menu. I would suggest fixing that because we almost walked away and I’m sure others with kids do as well. Definitely recommend if you are in the airport, very delicious eats!

Here is my experience. I ate and drank at Caplansky's Deli - great food and friendly service. A small error - the server did not credit my Air Canada delay voucher. When I later realized this small error the owner or senior manager quickly fixed the problem. This honest business did the right thing without hesitation. I will be back!
