Finally went to meet my soccer group on Friday night at Cawthra SS after recovering from an injury. Alas, they weren't there (re-scheduled) and so I decided to have a couple of beers at this place just down the road while watching the Leaf game. Went to pay and (after providing a tip) looked to see the bill didn't much up with what had been entered on the debit machine. I asked about this and was told it was a 'surcharge'. I asked for 'what' as well as where the charge has been posted?...it was neither on the bill or posted for customers to see. I was simply told it's a surcharge. I'm glad this happened to me as I won't be bringing my soccer buddies here for an after-session beer. A shame as it's a nice place but I don't want to have to explain an additional cost of $25-$30 to my buddies.

Older retire crowd but very nice people. Some days have karaoke and music for dance.
I just went there on Wed night for Karaoke and a drink. The people I met there were really nice and the lady running the Karaoke was excellent and very nice too. Overall it was a fun and friendly atmosphere.
