The taste was decent. It's a mix between Thai and Hakkah dishes.
It is over priced for the amount of food.
Portion sizes are small.

The best Crispy Chilli Chiken and Crispy Chilli Beef (dry) in all of GTA. It's crispy exterior with a soft, perfect, delicious interior and the sauce is mind blastingly amazing. Great service and ultra clean facility. I don't even like chicken fried rice but here at Chang and Huang it's incredible! The only place I enjoy it!

Amazing experience at Chang & Huang in Mississauga! The food was bursting with flavour—loved the spicy garlic fries, paneer & mushroom manchurian, and spicy eggplant. My friend’s chilli chicken manchurian with chilli garlic rice was a hit too. Cozy vibe, warm service from Anthony Hsieh, and no wonder they’ve been featured in the Toronto Star. A must-visit for Indo-Chinese and Thai lovers!

Great food. Be warned this is not hakka food but basically Indian Chinese food and not hakkanese or Thai. It does has some Thai inspired dishes but I didn't order it. Still yummy!

We came here with a group of friends and ordered decent amount of food. The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff are super friendly! We ordered chilli fries and chicken lollipop to start and it was so full of flavor and the chicken so moist. For our mains we got chicken manchurian, sweet and sour chicken, paneer chilly with gravy, chilly fish, Tings chicken(their house made speciality) all the food was delicious and we were so full. Good value for the money and quality of food in my opinion! We will definetly go back there again!

We have been to this restaurant few times but not sure how i missed adding review. Tom Yum Soup, Fried Rice and coconut curry were among few of the best. Today called to check if they had any Lunch specials and was surprised to see that the portions were quiet generous as well is the taste. I asked them to make it extra spicy and it was done well. for 15 dollars you get everything to fill your tummy.

Been coming here since I was a child, Anthony, the owner is awesome and always willing to go the extra mile, along with their staff, I’ve never had issues here… Always well cooked food, staff is helpful and VERY respectful… all around an awesome place to eat and constantly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Hakka food…

Try their chilli chicken on friend rice, it’s to die for!!!! (Extra extra spicy 😉 ) and their chilli oil is great too!! Goes REALLY well with their food, other places don’t make it like they do…

If you’re looking for a place that serves up bold flavors with heartwarming hospitality, Chang & Huang Thai Restaurant is a must-visit.

We tried a variety of dishes—Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Fried Rice, Vegetable Noodles, Tuxedo Cake, Captain Ting Chicken, and Crispi Chili Chicken—and every single one was a hit. The portions were generous, but the food was so delicious that we couldn’t help but clean our plates!

What truly sets this place apart is the people. Chef Antony is one of the warmest souls you’ll meet—his passion for food shines through in every bite. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Whether you’re craving comfort food or something with a spicy kick, this spot delivers. Highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable dining experience at Chang & Huang Hakka and Thai Cuisine this spot is bursting with bold flavours, comforting spice, and heartwarming hospitality. No wonder it was featured in the Toronto Star! 📰✨

From the moment we arrived, Chef Anthony made us feel right at home. You can truly taste the passion in every dish.

Here’s what we ordered and YES, every bite was a banger:
🍲 Loong Foong Soup – rich, savoury, and loaded with flavour
🍗 Lollipop Chicken – crispy on the outside, juicy inside
🍟 Spicy Garlic Fries – addictive and perfectly seasoned
🌶️ CP Chilli Chicken – bold, saucy, and spicy in the best way
🔥 Cap Ting Chicken – smoky, tangy, and unforgettable
🥩 Manchurian Beef – tender and saucey
🥬 Veg Fried Rice – light, fragrant, and great with everything
🍜 Pad Thai – sweet, savoury, and comforting
🍰 Tuxedo Cheesecake – the perfect sweet finish
🥭 Mango Lassi & Thai Iced Tea – refreshing and creamy

This is one of those rare gems where the food, service, and vibe all come together perfectly. Whether you’re craving spice or just want a solid comfort meal add this to your foodie bucket list ASAP. You won’t regret it!

Absolutely delicious with a lovely atmosphere. The staff was so kind and the food tasted very fresh. We ordered chicken chowmein (noodles), and sesame chicken with vegetable fried rice. Spice and seasoning levels were perfect and we appreciated the portions for a group of six people. The price was a little high but the quality of ingredients and speed of serving helped. We went in at 8pm. Thank you Anagha!

Food was great but drinks were actually bad. Thai ice tea was very watered down, mango lassi was just sugar and syrup (wish it was less of both and more yogurt and some real mango chunck) i know most places have this but looking at how great reviews this restaurant has and how many awards it has they really need to tighten up the drinks. Food was great we had lollipop chicken, chowmein, red chicken curry, veggie red curry and flavours were amazing.
