Despite lots of Filipino fast food and restaurants in Mississauga, this place represents a deep core of Filipino traditional cuisine, with a well-blended taste that truly reminds me of my childhood dishes. The service was excellent, and they even went the extra mile to attend to my personal request to make my experience memorable. The staff displays a true sense of Filipino culture of being helpful and understanding. Highly recommended and will comeback again!
Chibugan Eh located in the food court of the The Mississauga Chinese Center is not a fine dining restaurant, not even close. It’s a simple counter-service fast-food stall where your food comes in small plastic containers — and honestly, even with expectations that low, they still managed to disappoint.
When I politely asked for a tiny sample of their Kare Kare (a Filipino dish I actually enjoy), the woman behind the counter shut me down with a blunt, rude “NO.” Not even an explanation. Just attitude. I should’ve taken that as a sign.
But I let her poor customer service slide and still ordered the Kare Kare. Big mistake. For $14, I received the smallest plastic container they had — no rice, no drink, nothing to justify the price. Had I known I’d be paying that much for such a tiny portion, I certainly wouldn’t have tipped.
Between the rude service, the overpriced food, and the underwhelming portion size, I’m done. I will never support Chibugan Eh again. There are far better places to spend your money — places that actually value their customers and don’t serve a spoonful of food at fine-dining prices.
Lower your prices or increase your portions.

Food is mid for the exorbitant price. I bought pork barbecue and it costed me 5.99 per skewer. You can get bigger skewers from seafood city for 16.99 for 4 skewers. The barbecue didn’t seem fresh, it’s cold. Maybe it was cooked a few hours before. The meat was also tough. Not sure which part they used. It’s very lean and tough.
