We dined in as a group of 10 and were impressed by the quick service and wide variety of traditional Chinese dishes. I highly recommend trying the fish — it was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious.

Good value and flavour

We order the lemon chicken but there was barely any chicken and full of fried batter. Honestly, this was comparable to those ayce asian buffets with low quality food. If you’re looking, low quality fried food, you’ll found them here.

one if the best Szechuan restaurant in Mississauga

Food is great but service kinda sucks. They force you to tip even though the service already wasn’t very good.

Fantastic service, great food, generous portions, and excellent value. Crispy tofu was fantastic, as was the fried grouper.

I recently dined at China Impression, and it was a mostly enjoyable experience with some standout dishes.

The Beef in Hot Sour Sauce had a nice tangy flavor, though the use of glass noodles seemed to cut back on the amount of beef, which was a slight letdown. Both the Cantonese E-Fu Noodle and Yangzhou Style Fried Rice were average and not dishes I’d particularly recommend.

However, the Deep Fried Shrimp with Spiced Salt was phenomenal! The shrimp were fresh, perfectly crispy, and seasoned to perfection. Even the shells were so light and crunchy that you could eat them. This dish is a must-try!

The Tilapia Fish with Mixed Mushroom & Tofu was another highlight. The broth was light and naturally sweet, and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. A tip: ask for this dish to be served before heavier Sichuan dishes, as its delicate flavors might otherwise get lost.

The Stir-Fried Intestines with Soy Sauce was delicious and paired wonderfully with rice—so much so that even the kids loved it! The Tofu with Assorted Meat was also excellent, with silky, tender tofu and bold, well-seasoned flavors.

One minor downside was the wait time; dishes took about 10–15 minutes to arrive, which could be improved.

Overall, China Impression is a great spot if you know what to order. I’ll definitely be back for their standout shrimp and fish dishes!

Great tasting, authentic Szechuan (best I’ve had in Toronto). Great service and friendly staff, plus a cute robot delivering food!

I haven’t been there for a long time since my favorite Sichuan dish Bashu Renjia a few years ago. I accidentally heard that the previous owner moved here. Sure enough, the taste is familiar and the price is okay, but the quality of the dishes is sometimes unstable.

Ate here at China Impression for lunch. The menu is in Chinese only but it does have photos of the items. Ordered fried rice, har gow, and pumpkin and shrimp with salty egg yolk. The fried rice with chicken was super oily and greasy, will definitely not be reordering this. The har gow was decent, but you can get better elsewhere. The pumpkin and shrimp with salty egg yolk was absolutely delicious and incredible. The portion sizes are pretty big, so there was enough for leftovers the next day. The service is quite non-existent, you won't be getting any interactions with the servers unless requested. The atmosphere is a bit step above casual, but not the nicest by any means.

The taste is good, the portion is sufficient, the price is okay, and the service is good. Maybe it was because the food was served a little slow at noon.
Amazing taste, good portion. Affordable price. Servers are nice. Clean.

terrible experience.
we went there with family and friends many times before, this time is the final straw. yelling at customers constantly, not sure why they treat repeat paying customers as such.
never going there again.
