Food is good, we had fried rice perfect seasoning but, fried squid was really salty, we ate a piece each with my husband. Shrimp dumpling is good too however the service is bad, as we prospect to choose two seats, they suddenly shouted from distance and forced us to seat on 4 seater. Didn't offer water for refreshment and as we are about to pay the bill also we were not aware that they are only accepting cash. So my husband needed to withdraw near the store. Lastly, they won't accept payment without tip.

This restaurant has been here for many years. Good congee/rice/noodle restaurant at affordable prices and reasonable portions. They are usually busy, so expect a short wait for a table during lunch times. Restaurant isn't that large, so seating can feel a little cramped. Servers are polite.

Excellent service, welcoming atmosphere, those 5 inches jumble shrimps were delicious, the best is the soup! It's worth driving 60km to visit this place!

First time visiting for dinner at this place 7 months ago. I believe the reason this restaurant is only 4 star is because it is not the food. The food was great! The service was mediocre! It's the surprise of paying for cash at the end. The waitress will upsell and upsell. I felt the restaurant must hit a quota for the day. It should be told at the beginning before you even sit down that it's a cash only restaurant. There was a written sign near the cashier but did not notice until we were already eating. The cash only payment is nothing unusual, but to compliment this, it should be told Cash pay = No Tax or a discount is expected while paying for cash.
I was dismayed after eating. Did I tip? Yes, but less because it left me a bad taste on the guest experience. When we left, the waitress asked for more tips because we didn't give enough, felt pressured, and put on the spot.

Very good food! Congee choices are my favourite but they also do a great job with their milk tea. Very busy spot, gives it a good atmosphere.

Called them 8:35 to order food. They tell me already closed even though closing hours posted 9.

Also every time I get the chicken general tso I found bone in it.

Love this place. Been coming here for the last 20 years and consistency of the food has always been excellent and delicious. Highly recommend their scrambled eggs and shrimp on rice, spicy beef w fried rice noodle, pork chop with rice noodles (in soup) and wide selection of congee. They also serve imo, the best hot and sour soup in the city. Staff are friendly and kind. Expect a fast-paced and kind of cramped eating environment when you visit, but know the food will be fresh and worth it.
