Clarkson Pump & Patio

As long time Pump fans, my mum recently wanted to celebrate the beginning of her birthday by having some wings with our family.

We arrived, were told to seat ourselves, and our first contact with what I assume was supposed to be our waiter was “do you want menu’s?”

Typically - people are given menu’s at a restaurant if they want to order food, no?

After waiting 10+ minutes for anyone to come (no drinks, no table touch, etc). we left without any employees saying anything and walked across the street to spend our money elsewhere.

Having gone here since high school, to see such a decline in the quality of service over the years is disappointing, and I likely won’t be going back.

Rude servers that pushed me to a different seat 3 times for other people. They didn't even offer me a different seat. The pesto was pretty bad and overpriced too.

Great atmosphere friendly people and great patio.
Nicely renovated and great food. Chicken fajitas are my favourite and thanks Sarah for your great hospitality.

Food has a great attention to detail and is generally elevated beyond regular pub fare. Live music and a lovely semi covered patio.

Carrie provided exemplary service on the patio. The wings were so good that she didn’t neee to talk us into a second order. Nice local establishment that makes you feel like you’re at home with a great food selection and service that can’t be beat. Will definitely return.

First time going to this place, it was Sunday with the heat score we had..it was intense!!! not sure what made them think to keep the main doors open from the patio into the restaurant to heat up the place while the A/C was running. but hey not my cash to burn. the point of all this is, I had ordered the Nachos.. have to say its was over cook and far from worth 34 bucks...it was over cook. the chicken was dry and tasteless . few pieces of steak that were on there were the same and felt like chewing the bottom of my shoe, what the cheapest cheese sauce even tasted. my other half had a new item the salad with chicken and she said it was good. going to the point....I had to fight off flies with one hand as I was eating with the other. it was horrible needless to say..I had to cover my dish each time with a napkin. and me and my partner had to constantly fight with these flies..first and last time I go this place. sorry had to be said.

I organized a lunch for 50 and 75 showed. We were served quickly, by friendly staff in a great environment to catch-up in. They accomodated all our specific needs splendidly. I could not be more pleased with the experience at the Pump and if there is anything I can do to promote the restaurant, just let me know, I will happily do it. We had a great time there listening live music of Garnett Ford and the band. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was friendly and positive.

The patio is an awesome hidden gem in the burbs... wing night and taco night etc.

Came here for dinner Saturday night with a friend. Damian was our server and was fantastic. Usually go to the port credit location, but was in the area and decided to stop by. They definitely lived up to the Great Job they do at the Port Credit location. Truly love all the Pumps!!!

My favorite place with great people and amazing food

Visited the location more than 2 weeks ago to make a reservation for the party room for Dec 4th at 7 pm for 14 people. Arrived tonight to find they had no reservations in their system for us. We tried to accommodate their mistake by sitting in their outdoor patio as the manager was very apologetic. We had to eat with our coats on because of the temperature. The wine my wife ordered was correct for the 1st glass but the wrong wine came for the second glass. We ordered a second round of Heineken and the glasses came full of cider. The beer was good and the food was good but the evening was not great with our coats on. We never saw the manager again after we were seated. It was my wife's birthday and we should have been able to enjoy a better experience. Not sure what to recommend if you are thinking of reserving here. Seems their systems don't work. A follow up visit by the manager with a thanks for your patience to the group would have gone a long way.
