The price of croissants has beeb raised a while ago like everything else, but the real issue is with the chocolate ones.

They have different personalities throughout the week, sometimes they are big and tasty, other times they are small, greasy, look and taste like stale danish and cause acidity and nausea.

It’s like having a frenemy with two personalities, with the latter showing up a lot more to test your taste buds’ patience, or having a lousy narcissistic one who is lacking consistency in annoying you with the calories so they decide to spice it up every once in a while and have a different shape as well.

I wouldn’t blame the bakers, apparently it’s a store thing.

For the price I would expect you to at least use real milk butter instead of margarine and cheap fats. Never buying them again.

My all time fave is sourdough sunflower. Freshly baked ,loved when the store just open nd the bread was warm.The chorizo cheese buffin was yummy!

I’ve been a customer of Cob’s Bread for a while, but I find it increasingly frustrating that despite the premium prices for their products, they still charge an extra 50 cents for a bag. It’s inconvenient and feels like an unnecessary additional cost, especially given the already high prices. While sustainability is important, it often seems like a superficial gesture rather than a genuine commitment to environmental responsibility. It feels like the focus is more on profit than on genuinely caring about customers or the environment.

Every single bite? Delicious. And the freshness? Impeccable. I don't know what kind of culinary magic they're working back there, but they've clearly mastered the art of keeping flavors vibrant and textures on point.

What really blows my mind is how consistently good everything stays. These aren't just reheated leftovers; we're talking restaurant-quality freshness every time.

Finally, a spot that actually delivers on its promises. No disappointments, no compromises, just damn good food that stays damn good. Consider me a regular.

And the raspberry scones are to die for.

I visited COBS Bread recently and while I found the prices to be on the higher side, the quality definitely lived up to the cost. The bread was incredibly fresh, soft, and had that perfect texture you only get from artisan-style baking. You can really taste the difference in the ingredients and how carefully everything is made.

Their variety of loaves, buns, and pastries is also impressive — I ended up picking up more than I planned! If you're someone who values quality and freshness, it’s worth the price for a treat or special pick-up. Definitely a place to visit when you're craving something baked to perfection.

Doesn’t matter what time of day to come to the cobs bread Meadowvale . We came around 9:30 . All gone already . Always out of White farmers bread . If people buy them all the time why are they always sold out ? It’s so frustrating . It’s every time we go there . They need to do something about it

If I had a choice, I would pick one of everything here, freshly baked and always on point, got the triple chocolate scones, the hot cross buns always my favorite and the taste is always consistent.
