Staff are very friendly and drinks are always really good

This location has hands down the rudest, most miserly staff I’ve ever come across. I stopped by yesterday morning to grab bubble tea for a friend and myself, and when I asked for two waters to go with our drinks, I was told I could only have one? Seriously? Why is it so hard to offer a PAYING customer a simple thing like water? It’s mind-boggling that your staff would deny this basic courtesy. Because of this, we will NEVER be coming back to Coco again. The owner, Chen, should seriously consider training his staff to be more customer-friendly and less petty.

Thankfully, there are plenty of other bubble tea spots around Durham College that actually know how to treat customers with respect and don’t make a fuss over something as simple as giving water. So, I’m left wondering...can someone please clarify if this “no water” nonsense is a company-wide policy, or just some petty rule Chen has decided to enforce?

To make matters even worse, on a previous visit, I was served by a different worker who was alone behind the counter and had the worst attitude. She was visibly frustrated and didn’t even try to hide it...she definitely didn’t want to be there. After a quick search in the reviews here, I found someone else had posted about her months ago, complaining about the same terrible service. So, it’s clear this isn’t just a one-off. Nothing’s changed, and it’s obvious the owner and staff doesn’t care about giving customers a decent experience. Adios, Coco. I’m done.

I visited this location and had the pleasure of being assisted by Aby, one of their staff members. From the moment I walked in, Aby's warm and friendly attitude stood out. She greeted me with a genuine smile, making me feel welcomed right away. Throughout my visit, Aby was attentive, answering all my questions patiently and offering helpful suggestions.

BEWARE and AVOID

This is the only CoCo outlet in the area, quality is poor. You will realize the quality difference once you try the one at Dundas.

I ordered Brown Sugar tea which tasted like ice and water, hardly felt any flavor of tea and pearls were soggy.

Same person mentioned by Francis was my server.

I usually love my coco drinks but this specific store was disappointing. The person serving my drink was kinda rude, she couldn’t communicate. I had to repeat myself multiple times , she was just uninterested to talk. Also my drink was 80% ice lol. I asked for regular ice with J. Milk tea.

Went there today with my family and we were really impressed by the suggestion and recommendation. There was only one clerk so the service was a bit slow but she was communicative and tired to be quick. The service was one of the best I’ve received from this franchise. I will definitely go back and recommend to friends and family

Amazing service. Clean and spacious. Ample dedicated parking for customers. The lady at the front always smiles, and the guy is the same as well. I can recommend this place to my friends.

My friends and I visited this establishment on July 19, 2024, at 12:05 PM. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant, primarily due to the service we received. The store opened late, which was already an inconvenience.

When we were finally served, the staff member's attitude was extremely disrespectful. I asked if they were serving hazelnut milk tea, but the loud music made it impossible for us to hear each other. Instead of lowering the volume to facilitate better communication, the server rolled her eyes and raised her voice at us, displaying a remarkably poor attitude. I asked her why she was acting rude to us but she did not respond. This unprofessional behavior was not an isolated incident, as my friends experienced similar treatment during a previous visit.

The lack of professionalism and disrespect towards customers is deeply disappointing. I hope the management takes immediate action to address these issues and improve the service quality.
