Great little spot! The food was delicious, and the chef/owner really takes care to make sure you leave satisfied. Parking was easy enough, and service was welcoming and accommodating — I asked for extra tartar sauce and ketchup, no problem at all. Tried the fish and chips along with a side of spicy fish — both were fresh, tasty, and cooked perfectly.

I was very disappointed with my experience here. I paid nearly $20 for a halibut plate, and unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. The fish tasted stale and was mostly batter, with very little actual meat. The fries weren’t fresh at all either. I decided to try this place after reading some good reviews, but sadly, it didn’t meet the hype.

I had the Philly cheesesteak .. fresh beef (The chef specifically said not frozen) The menu says 15 oz of beef and I believe it. Not too messy, not too many sauces or extra toppings.. the beef was on point .. thinly sliced but not stale or chewy (not overly seasoned because the chef understands the cheese, fried onions/green peppers dominate); the bread was soft but not buttery/velvety like brioche.. it had a thin buttery sheen.
... and I ordered at 9pm on a Tuesday (they close at 10).

Best fish and halibut in town. Use to be an old place that was open (came back in 2014) and this new place has opened. The spicy fish and chips is still the same and more crispier. Best quality and quick service. Truly a Hidden gem. We come all the way from Georgetown. Need to have it in person for the best food experience!
