I ordered a custom cake online for pick up on Friday, for which I received the confirmation for. When I went in on Friday, they said no cake was made and they must have lost the order. The owner then came out and told me to grab a cake from the freezer, which was all freezer burnt and there was ice on the cake and all over the lid. Since I was in a rush, I agreed to just take the cake from the freezer, provided they could do the proper writing on it. When the cake came out with the writing, it was absolutely awful. It looked as if a 5 year old had written it. There were chunks of icing missing and the quality was terrible. The manager was rude and condescending and did not sympathize for their own errors. His offer was $1 off the cake. Which was extremely upsetting considering it was a $46.99 cake. Highly do not recommend and will not be returning. Go to the dairy queen on Lakeshore, the exact same cake was $5 cheaper and their customer service by far supersedes this truscott location.

This is a pretty good place, we get our food pretty fast. The food is a bit pricey for the size for me. Some of the seats are made in a way where they move back to their original position which can be troubling if you put like a bag on it.Parking: Don't worry about parking, this plaza is never full.

Went in Saturday to purchase a cake and waited at the counter five minutes while watching two staff members completely ignore us. It's important to note how disinterested the two young men looked. I put the cake back in the freezer and went elsewhere to purchase a cake. I've heard great things about this spot as my family has been going there for years however was thoroughly disappointed in the horrible service.
I had a terrible experience at this location on truscott drive, the service was at best fair due to the owner making the cashier do other things rather then taking my order, i can’t complain about the ice cream as it was good but customer service needs a big improvement if they want returning customers, I definitely wont be returning back even though i live close by it, i will go to the one on lakeshore and clarckson for a way better customer service !

Ordered a birthday ice cream cake 4 days ago, to be picked up at 12 pm today. Arrived at 12:10 and there was a sign that the store was closed for the day due to a water main issue. No one contacted me to let me know the store was going to be closed. Wasted time and a bus fare, too late to order from somewhere else and ended up with no birthday cake.Also, had a previous issue when they served us sour ice cream and when I requested a refund, the manager/owner dug into the trash can and gave me an expired coupon. Don't plan on ordering from here again.
