Dav’s Hotspot Restaurant + Lounge

Went to this restaturant for for the first time (Take out)and I’m glad i did. The Mac and chesse was nice and chessy, the whole food was seasoned nicely. 8/10!

Used to come here a lot but will not be anymore.

1. Portion sizes reduced drastically and they no longer service garlic bread with their loaded Mac

2. Wings were dry and so tiny

Both quality and quantity has gone down yet their price has gone up.

Love davs hotspot. Been a fan since the pandemic. However my most recent visit I was so disappointed in the food! I drive almost an hour to get Davs and I always get the Davs Loaded Mac with honey garlic wings seasoned and spicy Mac. But this time the Mac was soo dry :( and they give you half the amount of Mac and they usually do. And the wings. They have some of the best wings I’ve ever had, fall off the bone seasoned and sauce and usually cooked to perfection however this time the wings were barely sauced and were not as tender. It was okay but for their price point and compared to previous experience… it was not it.

My son went there and asked specifically for no sauce and they put sauce on (which happens!!) but when that happens, you make it right. And they would NOT make it right. He spent 40 dollars on a meal he can’t even eat due to an allergy. Very disappointing.

This place is encourages violence & hate towards police. Yesterday evening owners and workers yelling at police. Police recovered a firearm from violent criminals in the parking lot. Scary. Is food good? Ya. Worth getting robbed or victim of crime? Not really. They should put up signs buyer beware

Man this spot used to be so good. It fell off so bad. My friends took me here for my birthday 2 weeks ago and I haven’t seen them since. When I asked them why, they brought up this place. It had its days but can’t be caught eating here no more. Service been terrible since 22’ but at least the food was good back then.

I was in the area from East York and decided to try the mac+wings. It tasted as expected: wonderful. I also got to say hi Dav. I heard a customer raved about the curried goat- I guess I will have to try it when next I am in the area. 😀

If you're a serious foodie and haven't tried Dav’s HotSpot in Mississauga yet, you're missing out big time.
From the moment you open that takeout box, you're hit with bold, mouthwatering flavours that make it hard to put the fork down. The Loaded Mac & Cheese with White Buffalo Chicken and Cajun Shrimp is absolutely insane—creamy, cheesy, spicy, and packed with flavour in every bite. That combo alone is worth the trip.
Their Jumbo Fried Shrimp paired with classic mac & cheese? Ridiculously good. Crunchy on the outside, juicy inside—seriously addictive.
But let me tell you about my ultimate go-to: the Fully Loaded Alfredo with Honey Garlic Wings and Jumbo Shrimp. It’s sweet, savoury, creamy, and packed with protein. It hits all the right notes, and I keep going back for it. The rest of their pastas? Also on point.
The only downside? It’s not in downtown Toronto. I wish it was closer because I’d be there way more often. But even with the distance, I still make the drive. That’s how good it is.
Dav’s HotSpot is one of my favourite food spots outside of the city, and honestly, I’ll always go back. Worth every bite.

Food is good! But they messed up my Uber eats order I was so disappointed! I’ve been craving the Mac. I ordered the fully loaded Mac and they sent it with fried rice. Glad I was able to get fully refunded by Uber. They didn’t even call to tell me there was no Mac left if they didn’t have just sent it how they wanted!

service is horrible the front staff is very often rude and dismissive
