Dec 2024: Was craving the fully loaded mac and cheese w wings but unfortunately was disappointed. Wings were good but there was something off tasting about the mac and cheese and shrimp. I couldn't even finish the meal. I would not go back. Which is sad because the few times I went before this, I actually enjoyed it. Not sure what changed.

3 years ago: I got the fully loaded Mac & Cheese! I chose the seasoned mac and cheese which could've used a little more flavour (the garlic bread was a little soggy) but the shrimp and the honey garlic wings were phenomenal!!! One order can definitely feed two people.

It's a little pricey and the wait was long, so I recommend calling your order in advance!

I would definitely go back :)

Had it for the first time today..wings were cooked properly, and the mac and cheese had my lactose kick in, which means it was very good and cheesy 😂🤣 i recommend and will definately go back to try the other items on the menu.

Ordered at Dav's Hotspot a few times through uber eats and it hits the spot each time. Was recommended by a friend and it is now our usual spot after a workout.

Their loaded Mac and cheese was really good and had lots of flavour. Their Mac and cheese isn’t oily or too saucy. Some of their staff could be a little more polite. We asked what’s their popular items and the girl at the counter told us she’s busy and to look on the website. The website shows the full menu but nothing about their popular items. We placed the order over the phone - 20 minutes before arriving. It still took more than 40mins - after arriving.

worth the drive. the food is awesome, worth every penny. Any time your hungry bring the family and eat everything on the menu.

I called in my order and the person that answered was very helpful and explained the meal options to me. Upon arrival the cashier was also pleasant (I'm not sure if it was the same person ). The dining area and washroom was very clean. Although the food was delicious I'm not a fan of the garlic bread. I would eat here again! Highly recommend Dav's HotSpot 8.5/10

Went in for a night out, it was pretty hit or miss. I got the Loaded Mac N Cheese and the Rasta Pasta. The Mac N Cheese was great—super creamy and packed with flavor. The Rasta Pasta, though, was disappointing. The Jerk Chicken tasted burnt, and that just threw the whole dish off. I also tried the wings, but they were way too salty, which made them hard to enjoy. The shrimp in the Loaded Mac was amazing though.

What really killed the experience was the service. My order was supposed to be ready in 20-25 minutes, but I ended up waiting 40-45 minutes. When I asked the staff for updates, they seemed annoyed, like I was bothering them for wanting to know what was going on. No apologies, no explanations, just bad energy.

The food had its good moments, but the service really dragged the whole experience down. Overall, I’d give it a 3/5. Honestly I’d go again, but it’s not worth dealing with that kind of service for me.

Yes, the staff seem to have some spunk and sass. I’ve ordered three servings of loaded Mac and cheese and it took quite a while, almost an hour and a half wait time! We ended up quite hungry. I do enjoy their comfort food, i love their flavours on a good day, but the extended wait.. makes me reconsider returning

the wings are good but this place is over hyped. not good and bad service. so slow and the food was sooooo unseasoned. if you go bring sauce.

I don’t mind waiting for good food, but after my experience I will NEVER be back. It seems like the restaurant waits for bad reviews of their customer service before improving it. I was told the wait time will be 40 minutes (something other reviewers complained that they weren’t told). We waited in the car and didn’t mind it. We drove 20 mins home, open our boxes and received the wrong order (with shrimp, we are allergic). Drove all the way back, told the cashier. Cashier took our order and sighed, did not apologize and told the kitchen to remake. When asked how long the wait would be again, they said 5 minutes. We received in another ten minutes and when asked about the possibility of refund (or something?) for the mistake as it was a major inconvenience for us to drive back and forth. Was told “they are not going to give you a refund” as she disappeared into the kitchen for the manager. The manager came out and was just as disrespectful and seemed ready to fight us, and again did not apologize. Terrible, god awful customer service and the food is just average. Thank you to the kitchen staff for our food but your front end staff will be the end of your business.

I don’t think I am lying seeing that most of your one star reviews literally call you rude and ready to fight. Perhaps I did not say anything because of that. The cashier apologizing before handing off the food after telling my boyfriend that she did not apologize and gaslighting me now is not “apologizing multiple times”. My job also requires customer service that is busy, I have family in the restaurant business and I have never been SO disrespected by a business in my life. Seeing that you wait for bad reviews to roll in so you can sarcastically say have a nice day without apologizing AGAIN for the mistake is very telling of the person you are. Most RESPECTFUL businesses will have some kind of policy for compensation for front end mistakes.

Never spend your hard earned money here.

I came here with my friends and we wanted to sit down and eat but the workers said they closed dine an hour before they closed the store, which makes no sense. The customer service was awful as the girl serving us was giving us attitude.
