DoughBox Wood Fired Pizza & Pasta - Port Credit

*A Late-Night Surprise*

My wife and I stumbled upon Doughbox for a late-night pizza craving and were in for a delicious surprise.

We called ahead to ask about non-refined wheat flour options, and Monishka was incredibly patient and helpful. Her recommendation of the cauliflower crust piqued our interest, so we decided to go and try it.

When we arrived, Monishka was working the counter(who also made our pizza) and greeted us with the same warmth she had on the phone. We settled on the Rustic Veggie pizza with a few customisations - after taking some recommendations from the same staff member, also very accommodating with our requests.

The pizza was a masterpiece. The toppings were fresh and plentiful, and it was cooked to perfection. The cauliflower crust was a major highlight—crispy and flavorful, it tasted just like a regular crust. We were blown away by how good it was. One of the best pizzas I’ve had.

Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. A special thanks to Monishka for her excellent service!

Firstly, the pizzas are tiny. They are so thin they just flop as all the ingredients melt off. The dough seems like it’s barely cooked. There’s barely any flavour (we got the Bianca).

Second, we ordered the lemon pepper wings, I swear there was no lemon and no pepper taste at all. Wings looked like they were cooked completely bare with absolutely nothing on it. Super plain and tasteless.

Third, the place was excruciating hot. It was 39 degrees out, it was cooler outside than inside. The lady said it was bc they have a pizza oven. Tons of places have large ovens, it doesn’t make the entire seating area over 40 degrees. To really give you an idea of how it was, my son had just played a 90min soccer game outside in this heat and he said the restaurant was unbearably hot. Pretty ridiculous.

Overall, would not return. Tasteless food and uncomfortable eating area. The only positive thing is the kids deal for $9.99.

1) I know what the pizza is supposed to be like, I’ve gotten it at various other pizza shops. I’ve had way better.

2) i ordered lemon pepper wings. The wings were plain, no lemon nor pepper and we were given ranch sauce. Your explanation doesn’t make sense. We’ve ordered lemon pepper wings at various other establishments.

It would be best to accept the feedback instead of rationalizing and excusing your products.

Pathetic pizza. Small, less cheese and very less toppings. The AC was not working while there was high humidity outside.

Ordered from Uber eats and I think this was by far the worst pizza I have ever eaten. Think the cardboard pizza from pizza pizza is better than this. Toppings were minimal, and doesn't look like the fior di latte cheese that was requested. The crust tasted like it was paper mashé blended with corn meal. Absolutely horrible experience.

The toppings were non existent. Maybe one, yes one, mushroom on the whole pizza, maybe an 1/8 of a green pepper. Kids pizza had 5 slices of pepperoni. While it tasted fine, if you wanted a cheese pizza, will not be a place to reorder from. Unfortunately alot of the places in Port credit were closed on Monday and that was the default. I also read they had a problem with mississauga health Dept.

I recently tried Dough Box and was super impressed! The pizza was perfectly cooked with a crispy base and generous, fresh toppings. The flavors were well-balanced, and everything tasted homemade. The staff was friendly and made the whole experience even better. If you're looking for quality pizza with great service, Dough Box is a must-try. Definitely coming back soon! Had to pay parking....not the restaurant fault but greedy government
