Fancy Kafana Restaurant & Bar

It’s been more than 3 weeks that we keep coming to Fancy Kafana following the “open” sign on the website. However, it seems that the place has been closed, although there is no sign at the door. At least, they should update the website with this information and save their loyal customers time.

It was our first time at this restaurant. My daughter whose birthday we were celebrating chose it. We absolutely loved everything about it. The reviews were great and we love Serbian cuisine as in my opinion,it's the best in the world. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about every dish and even recommended the perfect Serbian white wine for our daughter. When the food came out, the presentation was phenomenal! The food portions were very well served giving you an array of colors and flavors. The kupus ( cabbage salad) that accompanied the dish was so perfectly flavored,I could have had a entire plate to myself! Our grilled meats were so tender and so flavorful,it needed absolutely nothing. Grilled peppers, perfectly cooked roasted potatoes, everything was so spot on! Everything from our warm lepinja with cajmak ( you've got to get this!) to the delicious meats and everything in-between made this a beautifully delicious dining experience. Believe me,having lived in Serbia for a few years,this cuisine is spot on in terms of flavor and presentation. This is our new favorite place. Thank you Fancy Kafana for being so phenomenal ❤️. We will indeed be returning!
