Sadly a place I’ve eaten has been closed TEMP. It’s unsafe and was shut. How to trust them in the kitchen now?

Fancy Kitchen, located at 4040 Creditview Rd., Unit B3, was inspected twice recently, once on 2024 Oct. 11 when inspectors ordered the business to close temporarily, and again a day later when inspectors issued the restaurant with a yellow conditional pass, permitting it to reopen.
According to Peel Region, the initial inspection showed results of:

* Did operator maintain the mechanical ventilation system to remove odours, fumes, vapours, smoke and excessive heat? — not in compliance
* Did operator take adequate measures to maintain food premises in a condition that prevent harbourage or breeding of pests? (critical risk) — not in compliance
* Did operator maintain and operate food premises free from any condition that is a health hazard? — not in compliance
The results of the 2024 Oct. 12 inspection were:

* Did operator maintain non-food contact surfaces clean, sanitary and in good condition? — not in compliance
* Did operator take adequate measures to maintain food premises in a condition that prevent harbourage or breeding of pests? (significant risk) — not in compliance
* Did operator take adequate measures to maintain food premises in a condition that prevent harbourage or breeding of pests? (critical risk) — not in compliance

This Cantonese Chinese restaurant in Mississauga is truly exceptional. Offering great value for money and providing superb service, it boasts a wide variety of different types of dishes. The friendly owner and welcoming atmosphere make it the perfect choice for a big gathering.

Being the only non-Chinese language speaking customers was a slight challenge, but we had assistance from a neighbouring customer and the food was very good! I want to come back and try more authentic dishes.

Good quality authentic Chinese food, nice service,reasonable price. The salted egg yolk pumpkin is so delicious! We can’t stop eating. We also love the desert ! Will definitely go back~

I can’t stop going back to Fancy Kitchen, especially for their incredible curry beef brisket! The flavors are rich and authentic, with tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef that’s perfectly spiced. Every bite is a delightful experience that keeps me coming back time and time again.

When I'm renovating in Mississauga, I order the dishes from Chao Ma's every day. Every dish tastes good. It would be great if there were restaurants like this in Markham and Segabor.
