I loved this place for a quick lunch stop. I usually park in the back and walk around as the plaza is packed in the front. A few weeks ago one of the staff served me (tall and shaggy hair) and he was in a bad mood and totally rushed my order. I didn’t like the service but there are others girls in the front who are friendly. I decided to come back again and the same staff was outside smoking and fighting on the phone with someone constantly swearing. I was with my children so I decided not to go and went to the pizza place instead.
You guys should have staff smoke away from your doors and not have them bring personal things into your restaurant as it affects the environment.

We ordered the half chicken with potatoes and rice and was impressed from the first bite. They were generous with the sauce, which was super flavorful with a nice tang to it. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the potatoes were cooked just right. I grew up in little Portuguese so this sent me into full childhood nostalgia.
The service was also great. Everyone was very welcoming for a busy small grab-and-go spot. Makes for a great lunch spot or a take out dinner kind of night. Portion was so big, I ended up eating 3 rounds of it, lol. And if you wanna save a little, bring cash!

Farol Churrasqueira is a great spot for authentic Portuguese food. It’s mainly a take-out place, with a small but wide counter and about 5–6 chairs for quick seating.
I was genuinely impressed by the variety of dishes—they had items I wasn’t even familiar with, which made the menu interesting. I ordered the half chicken dinner and lasagna, and both tasted good and were well prepared.
The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, a solid place if you’re looking for Portuguese take-out done right.
The chicken was cold and dry no flavour at all The fries were cold I thought I would give new place a try Very disappointed The delivery fee was 10’oo dollars for a meal which only 15.00 dollars Not worth the money I will never order again

I told the employees that it was my first time visiting the restaurant and they had difficulty explaining what they'd recommend (i am not portugese) and they were seemed so annoyed at me. Anyway, I ended up with just getting chicken.
I don't think id visit again. Seems like staff is unfriendly towards someone who's not portugese.

Just stopped in for take out. The food is delicious, of course. But the service is top notch. The ladies inside are cordial and warm. You can tell they love their job. That says a lot about the establishment itself. I was short 3$ when paying, and said I'd be back after checking for change in my car. She said not to worry! I walked to my car and didn't have any change in my coin slot! I went back to tell them. They said to not worry about it. Now, it's not about the money, which I will certainly pay when I go back next time, rather, about the attitude and niceties you feel everytime you go into the Restaurant. The food was delicious, as usual. But, my family is a customer for life! Must go if you haven't! 5 * all the way.
when did it become OK to serve food at two different temperatures? Order a half chicken with rice and potatoes and a Greek salad on the side yeah I know go to a Portuguese place in order Greek salad what are you doing but the crunchy vegetables with the acidic dressing, help balances off the rest of the meal the chicken breast quarter was fantastic, juicy and hot while the leg and thigh the other corner the dark side of it was ice cold. The rice was simple, flavorful, and hot while the potatoes half of them were cold half of them were hot and five out of the 12 potatoes were not cooked. In a pinch this place is fantastic. I just wish the food was an equal temperature and Warmed thoroughly.

I was so excited to try the leitao from Farol last Christmas but in the end I was extremely disappointed. We ordered half a piglet and let me tell you the piglet was more like a fetus, barely any meat, dry, burned in some spots, I was shocked at how bad it was. I've been holding off on posting this review because I'm not a negative person. All the other food I've had at Farol has been fantastic. The service is top notch and even on Christmas Eve, with a line out the door the staff was great! Maybe it was an off day but I know I won't be ordering leitao from Farol again.
