March 29,2024 around 12:30AM. The Janitor who mop the floor is rude , he kicked us out even we ordered food and ate in the area and we gave an almost a total of $20 tip. I told him wait because we have to clean up our food table but the guy was so rude and can not wait to go and chit chat with the ladies on the counter, the mop is stinky and so dirty including the water. Maybe he hate his job or lazy that he wants to go sit down. I don’t think this guy needs to work in a customer service especially at the airport. It feels like I am in a third world country here in the airport and the guy needs to be re oriented or go back to a good manners and right conduct training.

They made me pay twice for my over priced drinks, and I had to argue for a refund.I was there three days ago and ordered 2 drinks, $15 each. They never came so when we went to check with the bar staff, they were eating behind the bar and dismissive saying that they did not get an order and that it must have been declined. I payed with my debit card and could see then and still now that the payment had gone though. They came to the table a couple minutes later to ask what we had ordered and searched for the order and brought us our drinks. After we finished drinking an employee came to us and said it was declined and that we would have to pay again, I told them it looked like it had gone through in my bank and he walked away. After that another bar tender Larry approached us very rudely with his voice raised to tell us it was declined and we needed to pay, he was speaking so loudly that everyone around us was looking which in itself was quite embarrassing and he kept talking over us or would walk away when we would try to talk. He tried to show me proof the card was declined but would not show me anything that connected the information to me (it did not list the drinks, my card number, etc.). He would not answer questions to clarify the situation and he would not allow us to see the manager until I payed for the drinks a second time. I payed again and Larry called the manager Igor. Igor apologized for the rude staff and allowed a refund for the tip I had now paid twice as Larry included it when he charged me again. After calling my bank and confirming that I had just paid twice, I called Igor to ask for a refund, he provided one for the second charge and asked us to come back to repay if we found that the first charge did not go through.The rudest service I have ever received.

Asked for a little boiling water to warm up my babies milk bottle. Charged me $6 for a cup of hot water. First time I've ever been charged for water to warm up a bottle. Starbucks and tims both happily did it for free.Kid-friendliness: Definitely fail in this department

Stars mostly on convenience and comfort. This is important in an airport when you are carrying around your stuff.Food Quality: decent, tasty, but not the best. Salads seemed to be nice and big.Portions: sandwich maybe a bit small for the price, salad was a decent portion.Drinks: a fair amount of options.Price: a bit too expensive for what it is, but kinda expected from the abuse of airport restaurants.Service: amazing self service system in place. I ordered an iced Mocha while waiting for my flight, the Mocha tasted awful, it didn't have any chocolate smell or taste, nor whipped cream. So disappointed. The machine automatically inserts 18% tips in the invoice too.

Pure rip off. $21+ for a sandwich and that's the only choice available for a mid night flight. Can't blame the restaurant for charging high price. It's Pearson airport that is a rip off with limited restaurant selection.
