This place was super disappointing. First of all the interior is very strange, it looks like the owners haven’t set up shop yet so there’s just no layout or anything, it’s super messy which doesn’t even make you want to enter in the first place. And the ice cream is really mediocre, they claim that they make it in house but I highly doubt it as it doesn’t taste freshly made at all, it tastes like any other mediocre ice cream you can get at a grocery store. But their soft serve ice cream is the absolute worst, it tastes like you’re eating ice mixed with sugar, and they charge $8 for it. I even told the owner that the soft serve tastes absolutely horrible and his only reply was that he “doesn’t recommend” the soft serve to customers because it isn’t made in house anyways… but why are they serving it and charging $8 for it if they know it’s horrible?? Overall this place doesn’t deserve your money, do not go, and I have seen the owners reporting all the bad reviews, which should tell you everything you need to know.

I went to Fire Spot excited to have another dessert option in the plaza. Upon entering
we were met with multicoloured walls and patterned carpeting reminiscent more of a bowling alley than a dessert spot. The ambiance felt a little chaotic rather than cozy.

As we moved on to the menu, there was a wide variety of options, which initially seemed promising. However, the food didn’t quite hit the mark. We tried the Fire Spot Fusion—a combination of gulab jamun and ice cream—but it was overwhelmingly sweet, making it difficult to eat more than a few bites. The pistachio crunch crepe was another miss; the pistachio ice cream lacked the rich, nutty depth expected, coming across as rather bland and synthetic.

Hoping it was a one-off experience, I gave Fire Spot another chance. Unfortunately, the second visit only reinforced my disappointment, as the food quality remained underwhelming. While the concept is interesting, the recipes and aesthetic need some work to make it shine.

Got a soft serve in a cone dipped in chocolate, and honestly, not good at all.
The cone was like cardboard and had a bad aftertaste and the icecream itself is not good.
Also the presentation of the dipped cone was unappealing.

My buddy got a crepe with icecream and he said that was good so maybe it's just the soft serve and cone that were bad.

Owner and staff were nice which is always good.

So, I got a karak chai, and guess what? It cost me $5.60! Like, wow! Are you serving it with gold? It tastes just okay. The owner should seriously reconsider their prices because what they are charging, one can easily get from somewhere else at a reasonable price.

If you want to pay $20+ for dessert and be served in paper plates and with plastic cutlery like at a carnival, this is the place for you.

We have visited Fire Spot twice now.
The first was at the larger location (they have just recently majorly downsized).
At the larger location, we were greeted like a real restaurant, seated, offered water, asked for our order, which was served in regular serving ware with real cutlery.
The price was equivalent to dspot and demetres range, It was a fantastic experience so we knew we would return.

Our second experience was the complete opposite. A narrow walkway into the restaurant, our stroller barely made it through.
We found our own seats at the very small and cramped table area. The menu is split in two parts on the wall (probably because it didnt fit all on one side). So you will be flipping your head left and right to decide on what to have.

We were quite surprised at the way our dessert was charged. We ordered 2 items. A chocolate dipped vanilla cone (mediocre at best). Even the kids didnt jump to finish it.
And a waffle with icecream, sauce and strawberries. The waffle was priced for each thing separately. Waffle, icecream, berries, sauce, wierd. Our total was priced at over $30 for the 2 desserts.

Water was not offered, however there was a dispenser available. Upon asking for a cup, we were handed a coffee cup to fill.

The dessert was then ready to pickup at the counter. It was in a paper plate.
Ever have icecream in a paper plate? If not, be ready for it to soak into the plate by the time you are done. Cutlery was plastic. How fun. We were cutting into our dessert as though at a carnival. Except that its a restaurant and you expect better for what you've paid.

Taste: 7/10 nothing special or unique.
0 ( they at least drizzled the sauce on top).

This place has gone from a great restaurant into a run down fast food joint you would stop at on a long drive because you have no choice and your kid really needs to use the bathroom.
It is definitely not a first choice. Not even a second.
I cant even picture it as takeout, because waffles with icecream for takeout is just wierd.

Try at your own risk.
We will not be returning.

Do not go here. Avoid, their new location is a huge downgrade from their old one. Food is served on a paper plate with plastic cutlery had no service or anything.

The girl making the crepe didn’t write anything down so had to ask us multiple times what we ordered. She also looked like she never made a crepe in her life. Save your money and go to demetres or dspot where you get actual service and someone who knows what they’re doing.

I recently visited Firespot Dessert Fusion, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the variety and quality of their offerings. Their Karachi Karak Chai was absolutely delicious—perfectly brewed with a bold, rich flavor that brought me right back to the streets of Karachi. It’s easily the best chai I’ve had in a long time.

I also tried their Soft Ice Cream, and it was heavenly! Creamy, smooth, and just the right level of sweetness. A must-try for anyone craving a cool treat.

Lastly, the Gola Ganda was a fun, nostalgic experience. The vibrant flavors and refreshing ice were the perfect way to cool off, especially with the creative toppings that added a burst of flavor to every bite.

Firespot Dessert Fusion is definitely a place I’ll be visiting again! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and satisfying dessert experience.
