Staff was exceptional.
Another customer was bothering me. He seemed offended that I wouldn't feed my baby fries (even though they clearly had Cajun seasoning on them) and kept coming near me to grumble about it.
Staff asked if I wanted security called to have him removed and I said no, he was just making me uncomfortable.
He even moved tables to be closer to me after staff noticed his actions and tried to subtly discourage him from coming near me (by cleaning and tidying up around me, but taking extra time to do so). Eventually they quietly asked him to leave, but he grumbled about me before leaving.
When I was going to leave, I could see him hanging by the entrance outside and I told the male staffer I didn't want the stranger to follow me to my car. He followed me out and went to make a phone call while I walked to my car.
I got my daughter in her car seat and by the time I was on the driver's side, I saw another man (a manager or security?) yelling at the stranger and telling him he needs to leave and not come back or the police might be called.
I didn't want police called because I think the guy might have been having a mental health issue, but I'm grateful that the staff took steps to ensure my safety and made an effort to try to prevent things from escalating.

Great experience at Five Guys! I ordered a hot dog for the kids and they loved it. The fries portion was huge, and the special seasoning made them extra tasty. My little cheeseburger was fresh and absolutely delicious. The place was very clean, and we all enjoyed the free peanuts—you can take as much as you want! After dinner, the kids even had fun drawing and putting their pictures up on the restaurant board. Such a fun and family-friendly place. We’ll definitely be back!

I had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience at Five Guys on July 30th. My wife and I came in to celebrate a special occasion, only to be served a burger with a fly-like insect sitting on top. I have clear photos of the contamination.
While the store manager did call and offer a $50 gift card and refund, what truly shocked me was the dismissive attitude of Andrew Dorich, the area manager. During our call, he repeatedly referred to me as “buddy,” was rude, and made it clear that “this is the best we can do.”
This isn’t just about a ruined meal — it’s a serious food safety issue. Despite following up multiple times, no one from corporate has reached out, and the matter hasn’t been handled with the level of care or professionalism I would expect from a brand like Five Guys.
I’ve now submitted a complaint to Peel Region Public Health and am sharing this publicly so others are aware. Customers deserve better — both in food safety and in how concerns are addressed.

Love Five Guys! The fries are the absolute best anywhere, and that includes the french fry specific places, and you get a big portion size even with the small. Also, these guys have more than just burgers. Try the BLT or better yet, the grilled cheese. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Plenty of parking. No outdoor patio eating.
My experience at Five Guys was amazing. The person taking our order was very nice and patient the food comes out very fast and they serve everything fresh like their French fries. The milkshake is very well made this is a fast food place that I will always like and support.

I was the first customer today! I hadn't had a 5 guys burger in a long time as I don't live near one. Well, it didn't disappoint! The staff were very welcoming and friendly! Very helpful with the ordering process. All the food was very fresh! I couldn't eat my burger until I got home and it was still warm and delicious! The buns are so fresh and the burger was like that just made it. Totally above Wendy's! 5 guys actually have fresh, not frozen, patties. Just like you'd make at home! My wife and I haven't eaten fast food for a long time, to costly and usually a disappointment but after eating a 5 guys burger and fries ( made fresh too), I would go there again for sure. I don't see 5 guys food as fast food. I mean it's fast but far from what you world usually expect from a fast food restaurant! On top it all, the manager asked if I've ever tried other things at 5 guys like their milkshakes. After I said no, he said he'd like me to try one on the house. So I got a chocolate shake! Awesome!! Overall a great experience and great food!!!

Tried it for the first time with my family, and honestly, I was surprised! I’ve always been a bit grossed out by the idea of eating beef, so I usually avoid burgers. But this one completely changed my mind. The flavor was amazing, the patty was juicy without being greasy, and everything was so well put together.
