Having grown up in Beijing, their Peking duck is pretty authentic (especially the skin), and their serving sizes are quite generous for the price point. It’s definitely one of those restaurants perfect for hosting guests. I’ve been coming to Foodie North for six or seven years, and their quality has been consistent throughout :)

I’ve been here a few times already, but this time coming here with a bigger group we ordered a whole lot more classic staple traditional dishes and the taste and authenticity really blew me away. Flavours were well balanced and not overly salty or spicy. It was just right. True Northern taste. The atmosphere is very spacious and clean and the inner decors are very nice as well. Would recommend checking it out!

We came from east of Toronto and found this restaurant which we think better than where we normally go in Mississauga based on the online review. We ordered fish, hunan pork, and seafood tofu. Hunan pork and seafood tofu are just OK, nothing extraordinary, from the price point: it is expensive in comparison to other place selling the same thing. Secondly about the fish, the fish is very small and fishy: we couldn’t eat it at all. This fish cost $50 which is a waste at all. Conclusion: don’t order any fish here: they dont know how to cook fish correctly. Sorry there are plenty other restaurant tht can cook better, for this reason we are not coming back. Thank you

Quiet Mithos
The food was so good and really filling. I also really like the place’s decoration. The bathrooms got that ancient China feel it’s pretty cool! Loved the service too. Shoutout to the server Tina for giving us amazing services we really enjoyed our time there and will come back!

We experienced clear biased service during our visit. While Chinese customers had their food packed by the staff, we were just handed containers despite the restaurant not being busy at all. It was uncomfortable and felt discriminator. Very disappointing experience in terms of biased service.
