A cozy atmosphere, warm greeting as you enter this restaurant, excellent service and best of all the food is AMAZING…I had the escargot - brimming with garlic, the special agnolotti - just bursting with so much flavour and finished off with cream brûlée which was divine. I am looking forward to my next meal here! Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Great restaurant. Amazing food. Delicious. Great options. Great service. If it wasn't local and you had to drive for an hour to get here it would be well worth it.

Had an excellent dinner tonight. Wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s been closed for 25 yrs. Hope we can keep this place a secret for a while longer. 😉 Wonderful service, amazing food and a surprise twist with the tira misu. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a steak. It was juicy, tasty and overall well prepared. Vegetables were perfectly cooked and fries were delicious.
The waitress was attentive, helpful.
Good choice of wines on the menu.

Parking: There's a parking lot next to the restaurant, but it's limited in capacity. There's bigger parking lot next to the plaza on the other side of the street.

Was a bit disappointed going the first time with friends after reading reviews & making a reservation by phone with a very friendly person I assume was an owner.Upon arrival, the parking lot was uneven and in need of paving, making it unstable for walking. One of the windows of the restaurant was cloudy which also did not give a good first impression. Inside, we were not given the warm welcome many raved about. Our server seemed confused about where to seat the 4 of us & though the restaurant was not very busy, wanted to put us at a table in a far corner by the cash station where the walkway to washrooms were. He seemed to have a bit of an attitude when we asked to be reseated elsewhere but at least 3 other tables for 4 were available. The interior was lacking in atmosphere and since the restaurant was not busy, it felt a bit stark.
I'm sure our waiter did not realize 2 of the 4 of us had lived in Italy when explaining the menu which was fine but his explanation of certain well known mains felt a bit condescending. When asked if he was one of the owners, assuming he could not be, he said he was a friend helping out and one owner was not there while the other was in the kitchen. Overall, the food was acceptable but not fantastic. Not a place we'd rush back to, unfortunately, since we so hoped it could become a good go to spot with friends and family. There are better places to spend almost $100 per person with better service, nicer atmosphere and similar food. Owners of this restaurant should be careful with front of the house staff and first impression details.

Our first visit but our son & wife have been a few times. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the staff were formerly at Merlot in the Kingsway, so we had a bit of a reunion. The food was very good, and nicely presented. Also the prices are not outrageous. An unpretentious spot which is a great addition to the neighbourhood and will be our go to "date night" spot when we move to our new house in the Fall.

Tried this newer restaurant near my Mother’s home (she had heard good reviews from friends). Very impressed with the food and service. Great appetizers (we had the Tuna Tartare and the meatballs) and the lamb loin entree was outstanding. This was followed up with the in house desserts - Tiramisu and Semifreddo (we had Mango and Mint). Pleasant and attentive staff and nice atmosphere. We will be back when we visit again.

After a warm and welcoming reception our group was seated at a lovely table. We began our evening with refreshing cocktails followed by tasty appetizers and delicious entrées. Fine wine and generous dessert portions sealed the deal. Thank you Franico's.

Parking: Easy in and easy out.

Loved the food. However, they should add more vegetarian items in the menu.
