Fuwa Fuwa Japanese Pancakes Golden Square

Me & a couple of friends decided to come here post-food hopping around the area. Service was good- greeted with a hello from staff. Atmosphere was warm & spacious but in a more long way (2 sides for dining- went on the right side). We ordered the fuwa fuwa original which tasted very light & fluffy, and fruits tasted fresh! Overall, a chill way to spend thanksgiving evening bwhaha

** will try this place again but check left side cuz I briefly saw that is where they display certain pastries & pancake makers!**

The pancakes were eggy and not as fluffy, didn’t have that melt in your mouth feel. We also got it pretty fast after we ordered, other times I’ve had to wait 20 mins to get it because they’re made to order. And the matcha was bitter. But the interior was nice and so was the service

I will recommend Fuwa Fuwa to my friends We have been eating at fuwa fuwa so many times in different locations. BUT Not the one in Fairview mall is the worst. We had under cooked pancakes. They don’t even want to fix the problems. We want fluffy pancakes not doughy pancakes!!!

I think their pancakes should only be worth around $10. It seems too plain, plus when we bought it, it was not newly cooked. Unfortunately, we won’t be going back.

The food and service are okay, but I don’t enjoy the atmosphere. I was there with friends twice and we had a good time. However this afternoon I went there trying to study alone, but ended up leaving early because two clerks constantly talked very loudly in the store. What’s worse, if you can comprehend Mandarin, you will understand that they are gossiping about someone else, which is quite disturbing. I wouldn’t recommend people study here unless you are insusceptible to noise

Pancakes were really good. Matcha latte was gross. Staff was talking too loud, killing the whole atmosphere of the place. Claw machine was 100% scam, it always let go of plushy right before it reach dropbox. Not enough to make me return.

Delicious fluffy pancakes that are a lot more filling than they look and so many different options! Everyone found exactly what they liked and everything got devoured. Cute group, single, or couples seating. Nice clean bathrooms.

Kid-friendliness: There's a bit of a wait (25 min+) for the pancakes, but the kids loved the food and drink options.

Excellent food!

Went here for a sweet treat after dinner and it was yummy, ordered the new crème brûlée option and it was nice and warm when it arrived after 5-6 minutes even though we were the only ones here on a Monday night. The taste was great, the pancakes were soft, the pudding did taste a little eggy but not too bad. The caramelized bananas were a nice touch. The only thing I will say is that the restaurant smelled a bit like crayons or wax and there was not a ton of seating. Overall it was a great dessert and I will be coming back to try their various flavours. My friends got the oreo croffle and enjoyed it.

The tiramisu pancake was amazing! The atmosphere, and the customer service was fantastic! Our pancake was made in perfection, and so fluffy!! This is my new favourite spot!!

We went to try their high tea for two. There was one server and although no other customers on site, she was busy with online and takeout orders. This small order took forever to come. Nothing extraordinary. Tiramisu pancake was okay, drink was meh. Burnt cheesecake was the only thing worth trying. Maybe a nice place for Instagrammable photos of food but nothing else!

Always in the mood for dessert, especially fluffy pancakes! ☺️ We tried the tiramisu last time. This time we got another flavor - matcha tiramisu. I liked both of them. The sweetness of the matcha was perfect, not too sweet, and it was so soft and fluffy. Also, we got the pudding which tasted so light and delicious. ?
