Came here after some recommendations from friends, we tried multiple dishes, the hot and sour soup was great, the deep fried prawns were tasty ,, otherwise all the main entrees we got were very average , with average flavour, nothing out of the ordinary. Service was great, restaurant atmosphere was great

Great dinner spot, totally worth the hype. Best service in Ridgeway, Anup was great and clearly puts so much love into his work here. Amazing! Mashallah!

Honestly the food was very below mid. The fried rice did not even taste like fried race, they were more like steamed rice with a pop of flavour. The fish was a bit too fishy, and the chicken dishes were made of chicken breast but they were tooo chewy. Like I did not enjoy biting into it. Not as soft as it usually is at other hakka places.

Overall the flavours were very mediocre, nothing special. Would definitely not come here again, but it is very hyped (not sure why).

The service is extremely nice though, all the waiters were very lovely and attentive and kind. And the atmosphere on the inside is very nicely designed.

The food was really good, had to compliment the cheff by asking him to come and meet. The cheff buddhiman was really sweet and friendly. Very delicious food.

Great option for those who prefer desi style chinese.

We had an amazing time dining here! On our last day in Canada, we were all quite hungry, and this restaurant truly exceeded our expectations. One dish that really stood out was the honey garlic chicken—it was absolutely delicious!

First time here, and definitely coming again. Suggestions from Aastha were spot on!

I recently dined at Ginsoy, and it was an impressive experience overall!
We ordered chicken chow mein, hot & sour soup, and chicken Manchurian in red gravy—all of which were outstanding. The flavors were vibrant and well-balanced, and the dishes were prepared perfectly. The chow mein was savory and loaded with fresh ingredients, and the chicken Manchurian had a great depth of flavor with just the right amount of spice.
The hot & sour soup was simply outstanding, with a delightful kick that made it memorable. Try it first without adding any condiment - it tastes amazing as it is served.

The only slight disappointment was the garlic fried rice, which didn’t quite meet our expectations. It lacked the strong garlic flavor we were hoping for and seemed a bit bland compared to the other dishes.

I would like to thank Seher who was an amazing host and helped us order the best dises on the menu.

I have no hesitation in giving a 5 star rating to Ginsoy and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for tasty and desi inspired Chinese food. The main dishes were delicious, and I’m definitely planning to return to try more of their menu!

Year Pakistani Chinese is awesome! Ginsoy bring back so many memories of our Pakistani food. The waiting was very long and why not!

As soon we ordered, we were served with fish crackers and chatni and it was delicious.

We ordered hot and sour food, dry beef chilli, classic chicken chilli gravy, Alaina with chicken chow min and fried rice.
Everything was perfect.

On our 3rd visit we found green chillies in our hot and sour which was unusual.
Otherwise food easy tasty, delicious and mouthwatering.

Please beware the quantity are huge so order accordingly.

We also ordered lime and blue some drink and they were good as well.

Overall very good experience - service is little slow but I can understand as it’s too busy and crowded!

Dietary restrictions: People may find little spicy.

Parking: It’s in Ridgeway plaza so plenty of parking but also depends.
