Ginsoy - Extreme Chinese

We had an amazing time dining here! On our last day in Canada, we were all quite hungry, and this restaurant truly exceeded our expectations. One dish that really stood out was the honey garlic chicken—it was absolutely delicious!

First time here, and definitely coming again. Suggestions from Aastha were spot on!

I recently dined at Ginsoy, and it was an impressive experience overall!
We ordered chicken chow mein, hot & sour soup, and chicken Manchurian in red gravy—all of which were outstanding. The flavors were vibrant and well-balanced, and the dishes were prepared perfectly. The chow mein was savory and loaded with fresh ingredients, and the chicken Manchurian had a great depth of flavor with just the right amount of spice.
The hot & sour soup was simply outstanding, with a delightful kick that made it memorable. Try it first without adding any condiment - it tastes amazing as it is served.

The only slight disappointment was the garlic fried rice, which didn’t quite meet our expectations. It lacked the strong garlic flavor we were hoping for and seemed a bit bland compared to the other dishes.

I would like to thank Seher who was an amazing host and helped us order the best dises on the menu.

I have no hesitation in giving a 5 star rating to Ginsoy and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for tasty and desi inspired Chinese food. The main dishes were delicious, and I’m definitely planning to return to try more of their menu!

Tasteless food. Everything is cold and tasteless. They make chicken chilli dry with shan tikkah masala. Total waste of money ?

Year Pakistani Chinese is awesome! Ginsoy bring back so many memories of our Pakistani food. The waiting was very long and why not!

As soon we ordered, we were served with fish crackers and chatni and it was delicious.

We ordered hot and sour food, dry beef chilli, classic chicken chilli gravy, Alaina with chicken chow min and fried rice.
Everything was perfect.

On our 3rd visit we found green chillies in our hot and sour which was unusual.
Otherwise food easy tasty, delicious and mouthwatering.

Please beware the quantity are huge so order accordingly.

We also ordered lime and blue some drink and they were good as well.

Overall very good experience - service is little slow but I can understand as it’s too busy and crowded!

Dietary restrictions: People may find little spicy.

Parking: It’s in Ridgeway plaza so plenty of parking but also depends.

Parking: Like any other outlet in this plaza, parking is limited, especially on weekends.

The food is not Chinese at all, it has too many spices, too salty, they fixed the food twice and we still could not have it. I've tried Hakka food before but this must be the worst I have tasted. The server however was accommodating and apologetic.

Asked to make reservations for my husband’s birthday and they were very kind to make it. Our server Lakitha was extremely helpful and professional. The appetizers came out nice and quick and were fresh. The food came out promptly. Everything was so delicious. Cannot wait to go back and try other dishes.

First visit and was happy with the service. The food was decent. The crispy Beijing beef was good and cooked well. Spicy garlic noodles were tasteful but slightly more spicy than I expected. The szechuan chicken was overcooked but when I complained they immediately brought me another, freshly made. Good service.

Its Pakistani style Chinese cuisine, we get it, but everything on the menue shouldn’t be spicy…..i had kids with me, and it was very hard for me to find anything non spicy on menu……even the waiter himself said “pretty much entire menu is spicy”
Hot and sour soup was really good, but Manchow shoup is not impressive at all. Dynamite prawns came with the thickest layer of breading/coating, and were not crispy at all. Chicken manchurian was just ok. Chowmwin was also ok, my kids liked it but that can be because they were hungry beyond description after waiting for 1 hour and 14 minutes just to be seated.
