Although ive been to many Korean and Japanese Bbq places, i really enjoyed Gyu Kyou. Our family went there for my birthday lunch and although the menu is smaller compared to other places, each item was good quality. We really enjoyed Gyoza, miso pork belly, short ribs and kalbi. Even though the sushi option was limited for lunch, the sushi was of high quality.Our server Manoj was so attentive and changed our grill multiple times Our orders came very fast and the servers were also nice and welcoming. The restaurant also is cozy and the decor is nice. Highly recommend!

Delicious Japanese bbq spot in Heartland Town Centre. Years ago you wouldn’t be able to dine at a restaurant like this unless you ventured out east to Markham/Scarbrough. What a pleasure it was to eat exceptionally fresh ingredients in a classic Japanese bbq restaurant in Mississauga. Lunch price is very fair considering the quality of food. Can’t wait to try again.

This restaurant holds a special place in my heart as one of my top picks in Mississauga. There's so much to love about it. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the meat quality. I highly recommend trying their steak and the marinated short ribs—they're super good! Plus, their sushi selection offers a variety of options, with standouts like the Dark Angel Roll and the Signature Roll, which are my favourite. Out of all the korean/japanese bbq restaurants i’ve tried, their bibimbap is the best out of all the bibimbaps i’ve had.The service is top-notch, with-fast delivery of foods even during busy times. Their servers are really friendly and attentive. Our server, named Mandy was really sweet and enhanced our experience. She’s very quick as well! They regularly check to see if you’d like to order some more.The ambiance is another reason why I keep coming back. It’s very aesthetically pleasing, good for hangout and pictures with friends; beautifully designed with plenty of space, and everything is kept really clean and tidy, including the washrooms.Furthermore if you're celebrating a birthday, this place is perfect! I tend to go here every other week and as I notice, the staff brings a creme brulee tower and would sing you Happy birthday. Also, their creme brulee is something that you shouldn’t miss. It’s really flavourful!!Overall, this restaurant will always have a special spot in my heart.
