Hakka Spice Reviews
Visited Hakka Spice (Winston Churchill Blvd, Mississauga) with my daughter and brother after a special family outing. First impressions were great: the ambience was warm, the space larger than expected, and the staff were friendly and attentive. They quickly brought us filtered water, fulfilled requests for extra napkins and plates, and made us feel welcome throughout.
We ordered two lunch specials:
Butter Chicken Masala (my brother’s)

Hakka Spice offers a simple and quiet atmosphere with generous portions and delicious dishes that can easily feed two people. The restaurant has a great staff that makes fresh and flavorful Hakka dishes, catering to different spice preferences. Chef Binod made great food always. It is a place worth revisiting, with tasty options like Hakka rice, chicken wings, general tso chicken, MoMo,s with the yellow sauce or chutney, chicken lollipop, triple schezwan chopsuey, and Manchurian beef. The menu features a wide selection of Hakka food that is unmatched, with portions that are incredible at very affordable prices. The meals are packed with flavor, including favorites like chicken manchurian, house chowmein, and chicken momo, which remind diners of food from Dharamsala, Kathmandu, and Dilli Haat. Dietary restrictions are taken into account with Halal options available, and the diverse menu allows for Indian-style Hakka Chinese dishes like butter chicken and tandoori chicken. The restaurant is clean, spacious indoors with plenty of parking, and the service is good, prompt, and simple. Customers appreciated the attentive staff who accommodated requests for less salt and low MSG, and many noted the reasonable prices. Overall, Hakka Spice is a cozy hidden gem in Mississauga that stands out for its warmth, old-school vibes, and flavorful dishes. It is definitely a place worth revisiting, whether dining in or taking out.
