Hakka Spice

Visited Hakka Spice (Winston Churchill Blvd, Mississauga) with my daughter and brother after a special family outing. First impressions were great: the ambience was warm, the space larger than expected, and the staff were friendly and attentive. They quickly brought us filtered water, fulfilled requests for extra napkins and plates, and made us feel welcome throughout. We ordered two lunch specials: Butter Chicken Masala (my brother’s) Chicken Manchurian (mine, shared with my daughter) ✅ What we liked: Soup was flavourful, though slightly salty and heavy on tofu (not my personal favourite). Spring rolls were crispy, though a bit light on filling (which seems common at many places). Staff and service were excellent, responsive, kind, and helpful. ⚠️ What could improve: Chicken Manchurian was overcooked and dry. Not sure if it was fresh or reheated, but it lacked tenderness. My daughter still gave it a thumbs up, so that helped. Butter chicken was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. Portion size was just okay for the lunch special price, could be slightly more generous. Would I return? Possibly, mainly for the service and to try a different dish. The food wasn’t bad, but a few adjustments in quality and freshness would really elevate the experience.

A descent place to sit and eat some Indian Chinese..overall ambience is not that fun to enjoy.

Best Hakka Chinese food in Mississauga. Chicken Lollipop is a must try!

Always get the great food and great experiences with the staff. Chef Binod made great food always. So far our best place for Hakka food. Must try MoMo,s with the yellow sauce or chutney.

Got the chicken lollipop, triple schezwan chopsuey and Manchurian beef.

Love this place because of the diversity of the menu. You can order Indian style hakka Chinese while also ordering things like butter chicken, tandoori chicken etc.

The food was okay. Service was on the slower side, but the pricing was reasonable, and the portion sizes were quite good.

I recently visited Hakka Spice and had an excellent dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with vibrant flavors and great presentation. A special shoutout to our waitress, Alisha, who was incredibly attentive, polite, and made us feel very welcome. Her friendly service truly enhanced our visit. Highly recommend Hakka Spice for anyone looking for great food and exceptional service!
