I was in search of a durian cake for my boyfriend’s birthday, I saw the reviews and gave it a shot. I wasn’t expecting anything on such short notice, but the very kind lady (owner?) on the phone took my order and said she would make it right away. It was ready in 40 minutes and decorated beautifully! My boyfriend was so happy, he said it was the best durian cake he’s ever had (and he’s had quite a few) lots of fresh durian inside the cake, and not too sweet. I will be getting this cake for him every year, I cannot thank Happy Cake House enough for such excellent service!!!

Their bread is kind of Hongkong flavor it is soft. I ordered several different kinds of bread. The owner her attitude is kind.

I've been coming here for a long time, 16 years on and off, and always enjoy having their pastries. I do remember them being better, but they still hit the spot. Not stellar like what you'd find at Saint Germain in Square one, for example. For the price, it's great. You don't get things that fill you up at this price anymore. They mostly accept cash or debit, but they will have an extra charge if you use debit. It's mostly a takeout spot, not many seats.

Good bakery, everything very fresh and with how prices are you get such a great deal on buns and pastries!
Their flakey beef pastry and chicken are fantastic and they really use real durian in their desserts. Will return !

Been going to this place for years now but the quality has gone downhill. 2 times in a row now I've come here and was sold stale coconuts buns, unfortunately you can't tell till you bring them home and cut them open. Prefer to support smaller businesses but this never happens at Oceans as there are dates on them and older stuff is marked down accordingly. Also don't like that it's cash only here. Won't be coming back
