I was in search of a durian cake for my boyfriend’s birthday, I saw the reviews and gave it a shot. I wasn’t expecting anything on such short notice, but the very kind lady (owner?) on the phone took my order and said she would make it right away. It was ready in 40 minutes and decorated beautifully! I've been coming here for a long time, 16 years on and off, and always enjoy having their pastries. I do remember them being better, but they still hit the spot. Not stellar like what you'd find at Saint Germain in Square one, for example. For the price, it's great. You don't get things that fill you up at this price anymore. They mostly accept cash or debit, but they will have an extra charge if you use debit. It's mostly a takeout spot, not many seats.
Good bakery, everything very fresh and with how prices are you get such a great deal on buns and pastries!
Their flakey beef pastry and chicken are fantastic and they really use real durian in their desserts. Will return !
