hey Niu Niu Yonge and Sheppard

OBSESSED with their coconut custard cups!!! MUST TRY if you live in this area. The custard comes in a young coconut and once you finish the custard there is the young coconut meat to enjoy 😌😌😌😌 I don’t know how they make it but it is heavenly! I’ve never come across anything else like this in the city and since moving downtown I still come to Yonge and Sheppard specifically to have it!

The coconut jelly dessert is soo good

I visited with high hopes after reading the reviews, but both the quality and service fell far short. The tea tasted bland and poorly made, with tapioca that were overly chewy and stale. Even more frustrating was the unprofessional behavior from the staff—I was met with dismissive attitude by the middle-aged Mandarin-speaking female staff during my visit, which made the experience downright unpleasant. I won’t be returning and can’t recommend this place to anyone.

It was my first time trying their boba and i don’t think i will buy from anywhere else but here from now on!!
Also they have a no ice option! Which is great because not everyone do that
And the price is also great for a large cup!

Full set coconut 🥥 taste sooooo good

My family and I tried Hey Niu Niu for the first time and really liked it! The lady at the counter was really nice and patiently answered our questions. We ordered the sakura lychee w/ aiyu jelly, honey longan pomelo tea w/ tapioca, and the peach four seasons oolong tea w/ grass jelly, and all three drinks were great! We couldn’t change the sweetness levels on the first two drinks but they weren’t too sweet for us. I was surprised by how good the tapioca was - it was perfectly soft and chewy. I’ll be back to try the milk teas!

The drink is delicious. Can the egg waffles be improved? It’s a bit unpalatable

Real Coconut Jelly is quite enjoyable to eat, with just the right amount of sweetness. The shop has no seating, only take-out is possible.

Kid-friendliness: In front of the store are some benches in the building so children can sit quite comfortably.

Run by one lady, this is my favourite bubble tea in the area (trust me, I’ve tried them all). It’s small, and when there are more than 2-3 people in line, it can get slow (again, she’s by herself, so be patient!)

The Pudding Coconut Milk at Hey Niu Niu is easily the best drink from a bubble tea spot I've ever had (not sure if I can call it bubble tea since it doesn't come with tapioca). It's not overly sweet which is all too common with most bubble teas. The coconut milk makes this drink so addictive and refreshing.
