Walked over this afternoon to pick up a vegetarian thali and some naan. I usually go to a vegetarian hot table place closer to my parents that's very aggressively priced, but this was a time sensitive craving.I'm so glad I walked over! The dining room is cozy, clean, and comfortable. The server was friendly and helpful, and my order was ready to go in about five minutes.Everything was really tasty! The paneer, dal, Chana, okra, and veggie dishes were all nice, not very spicy (maybe it's Port Credit Spicy lol.) Salad and rice were fresh. It comes with delicious little samosa and pakoras. The regular naan and garlic variety were both cooked perfectly. It's a good value for the lunch special price. And what an amazing location for the summer! Worth a visit.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian lunch special is delicious. It contains nightshades and cucumbers.

Our first visit, but certainly not the last! The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere and the TV is a nice touch for when the game is on. The service is even better, friendly, warm and proud of the long history that this restaurant has in Port Credit. The best surprise was how good the food was! A few weeks earlier I was in Oakville and this was night / day better. Highly recommend the Talli (pardon my spelling - see photo) it offers several flavours on one dish and all were great! They offer special pricing on this dish during lunch and dinner and it’s delicious and abundant. Thanks again to Indian Cuisine by the Lake !

I walked into this restaurant having low expectations already, but I didn’t expect it to be worse than that. The roti felt like whole wheat pita bread from a bag, the paneer in the Navratan Korma was overly firm and felt raw. The richness you’d expect from korma was simply non existent. The dal makhni was fine. Service was good, waiters were polite and kind. Good location.

We experienced exceptional customer service that surpassed my expectations. The team was incredibly responsive, addressed my concerns promptly, and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. Their personalized approach and commitment to resolving issues left a lasting positive impression. I highly recommend their service for anyone seeking a top-notch customer experience. I came here with my sister and we wanted to try momo's but unfortunately it was not in their menu, then we met the owner and he was extremely kind and humble he said whatever the customer wants, we will keep it give us a couple of weeks we will definitely put that in our menu. Amazing customer service.

Great food. Always reliable. The staff is terrific and so helpful in dealing with any requests. We are long time advocates and appreciate all that they do.
Excellent! Owner cares about quality. This place has authentic, high quality Indian dishes. The menu is quite varied and populous. There are North Indian and South Indian dishes as well as Hakka items.I tried the chicken 65, lamb chops, and fried rice. Chicken 65 was first class, just as it'd taste made by the seaside cooks in Chennai, but with some class. Lamb chops were well cooked and the marinade has a good fruity note to it, which many cooks can't get right with lamb chops. Fried rice was good, it was Hakka style, though this resto's interpretation goes off the beaten path. The server and owners are very cordial and take care of the guests. It is clear to me from their comport that they want every guest to be satisfied.Interior is cozy and decorated nicely. The cutlery and dining sets were remarkably spotless. Remarkable, because I dined at Mortons Steakhouse in Toronto 2 days ago and their cutlery was tainted. This is one of the few restos in the GTA where the owner is present, contributes, and ensures quality and guest satisfaction. This is reflected in the dining experience and the food.It was nice to walk along the Port Credit waterfront and finish the day off with dinner here. Very pleasant and satisfiying dining experience. It's an appropriate fixture in the Port Credit Lakeshore dining scene.Vegetarian options: It's an Indian resto, many good vegetarian dishes.Parking: Lots of streetside parking and pay parking nearby the Lakeshore.Kid-friendliness: Interior is welcoming and kids would have a good time studying the Indian-themed decor. Numerous kids were sat at nearby tables and seemed to enjoy being here.
