It’s exactly what you want. Good food for good price. I’ve been here 10 times and it’s solid each time. The ladies are stern and friendly. They are amazing.

It serves a craving. Wouldn't be my go to spot for dim sum though - portions were small, and taste was ok. For 4 ppl, we order 10 dishes, one never came, and we were still hungry.

Typical dim sum, with good portion size and decent prices. Parking can gets difficult during the peak times. This place also has some frozen dim sum for purchase if interested to have at home.

My husband and I have been coming here for years. The food is fantastic, made fresh on premises. The staff are great, we are always greeted like family. They don’t do cart service, you order off a menu but the food arrives to your table hot. They also have many flash frozen dim sum dishes available to take home. It’s not fancy inside but it’s always clean. Well worth a try if you like dim sum.

Absolutely fantastic dim sum and authentic Chinese food! The dishes were delicious, fresh, and generously portioned. Prices are very reasonable (especially for the Toronto area), making it easy to try a variety without breaking the bank. It’s not a fancy upscale place, but the flavours are outstanding, the food comes out quick and hot, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Parking is limited and it’s always packed/busy during peak meal times so be sure to go early or make a reservation. A true hidden gem for anyone who loves genuine dim sum and Chinese food. Highly recommend!

The place is very busy, the food is great. However, the staff is not too organized. The only plus thing here is that it's close to our place. Parking is a nightmare because so many people come to eat at this place

Please do not go here, save yourselves. Read the other critical reviews and see for yourself. I’ve lived near this restaurant for the past 10yrs and they have gone downhill fast. Likely one of the best dim sum places in Mississauga 10yrs ago, post-COVID it has turned into a dump. Lights don’t work/they don’t turn them on during certain hours, not the cleanest place, food is not good, and service surprisingly got worse. I’m from Hong Kong and grew up in Markham so I may have a good sense for good dim sum and this is not it.

All the fried dishes tasty dry and stale, tasteless lo bak go turnip cakes, and their rice rolls are thick and hard. Their fried tentacles were also dry and had a weird cinnamon in the batter.

My family was also blessed one Friday when we walked over with a stroller and our 2yo and they were rude from the start. Servers looked at each other when we walked in and said we could bring in the light foldable stroller but we were “lucky” because it was a not busy. Otherwise they would not let it in. Context: it was Friday at 6:30pm and there were two other tables there for the whole time we ate. The one time my 2yo dropped their chopstick, the server motioned at us then came over and took the chopsticks away both away along with the plate and bowl in front. We will likely never go back.

Eat well, friends.

Very disappointed! I came for dinner on a Friday at 7pm to be told the place was closed. Yet, there was 4 or 5 tables with people eating. The sign on the door said closing at 7:30pm. Sorry to say but you lost my business on that day and I won't come back either!

Jade Dim Sum is a quaint and home cooked food to the taste-which is exceptional btw! Not only is their Dim Dum the best but they go above and beyond in service!

Absolutely will be coming back! The food was so good and fresh! There aren't carts, so if you're looking for that experience I wouldn't recommend Jade, however ordering from the menu means that the food is made to order, hot and super tasty. They have all of the traditional offerings on the menu. Staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant was clean and parking was available.

Review updated Oct 2024: place continues to be consistently busy. Parking is very limited, need to get here early or car pool. Makurdi
The majority of the plates are $4.50 each. Picture menu helps you pick and choose. There's also a $1 person sitting fee or tea (if you don't have tea).

Previous review during covid:
Place is really busy during lunch hour. Great value for your money. We call in for take out and still it takes 20 minutes to prep.

BAD! Just bad. Forcing 15% tips with non-communicated services. No visa accepted. I would bear with it if the food goes okay but was such a disappointing experience.
