Deeeeelicious! Just had the small jerk and oxtail from their brick and mortar location and the flavours are authentic. None of that artficial BBQ-ey flavouring you get at some of these other restaurants. I think I found my new Jamaican spot! ?

I really wanted to try the food, but the store was closed. However, Google says it’s open.
Tried this truck out at a food truck festival over at Mel Lastman Square on Canada Day weekend.
They definitely had some interesting items on the menu but most of the interesting ones were sold out like the irie burger (jerk chicken, coleslaw and plantains sandwiched b/w two jamaican patties.
I was deciding between oxtail and jerk chicken and settled on jerk chicken cuz oxtail is kinda messy to eat when you're just standing and walking at a festival (you really gotta use your hands to suck on the bones).
As far as my order goes, the chicken was juicy, flavourful and SO tender. The rice was also very flavourful and not dry as well.
The coleslaw that was pictured on the menu and supposed to come with my box did not come in my box. They literally put raw lettuce in and called it a day (see photo). No apology or notice to me that they had run out or anything. Literally just put raw lettuce in my box with no dressing.
I would have been able to let the undressed veggies go if they had given me a decent amount of protein but the amount of chicken was unfortunately quite stingy as well and ESPECIALLY at $16 for a box? I felt slightly robbed if I'm being honest.
I'm looking at some of these other reviews and it seems like the play is to order from the brick and mortar restaurants cuz they are giving WAYYYY larger portions (you get an actual takeout box and way more meat). Maybe I'll try visiting a brick and mortar location next time.

Tried the oxtail. Was very tender. Gravy was flavourful and compliments the rice.

Absolutely a delicious place! I got a chance to try Halal Jerk chicken after traveling Jamaica for over 10 days, luckily there is a halal jerk chicken spot here! The jerk burrito was fresh, tasty and flavorful. It was jam packed with meat and I truly did enjoy it to the max. Tristan was such an incredible person, speaking to him and learning more about Jamaican culture and cuisine was a true pleasure. Looking forward to coming back here to try out the Jamaican patties!

I ordered the jerk chicken sandwich. The chicken was fine, but was underwhelming in a sandwich form because of the bread and topping quality and the ratio of "other stuff" to protien. I would order something different if I could choose again. The reason I'm leaving a negative review is because the posted price for the sandwich was $8 on the menu, but I was charged $12+ hst. While the sandwich was being made, I asked why I was being charged more. I was told the posted price on the menu is wrong and that $12 is the correct price. It was too awkward to cancel my order after they already started making the food it so I paid for my meal, but it is unethical and perhaps even unlawful to advertise a price on a menu and then charge a customer more at the cash. Was hoping my opinion would change when I ate the sandwich, but after seeing and eating it, I felt more disappointed.
