Had my mother’s birthday celebration at Kalypso Hut and have 50 people attended. Paul and his team was great to work with and supplied everything we needed to make the event a success. The food was a big hit and everyone enjoyed the buffet.
I will be ordered from them for my Christmas catering.

I ordered a party tray of fried rice and chowmein from other places in the past. The tray i ordered from Kalypso Hut by far is the best in terms of food quality, portions size ans price. I would highly reccomend!

Walked in to eat. Place looked closed at 1pm. Looked like a decent lunch special advertised in the bar area. So I ordered that and was told it was only for takeout. Not sure why you advertise a take out special inside the store. Anyway I got two thinking they were just small portions and took them out. Realized afterwards they were full orders. The noodles were quite good and the rice dish was ok too. Odd spot but the food was good
I ordered 3 chicken fried rice from Kalypso Hut, but the experience was disappointing. The chicken pieces inside were small, cut-up bits, and the quantity was very limited. For the price, it didn’t feel worth it at all. The taste was average, and overall, it wasn’t a good experience. I expected better portion size and quality.

For my daughter's 40th surprise birthday party on August 9, 2025: The staff was amazingly accommodating, professional, pleasant and like family as well. The DJ fits right in with the right music at the right time!!!. Also plays one's request. We all enjoyed the food, atmosphere and cocktails. Thank you Calypso Hut for your undivided attention. An Evening well spent. I will definitely refer. See you in future.

Ordered the fried bangamary, it tasted rotten. Fried rice was nothing special. Low mein was a lot of corn starch sauce on bland noodles.
