Pathetic service and extremely disappointing experience. We visited Kibo Sushi when the restaurant was almost empty and politely asked if we could sit in a booth, with the understanding that we would move if a larger party arrived. The first server agreed without any issue. Shortly after, another server approached us with a completely different attitude — rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. We were told that to sit in the booth we must order a minimum of $60, which was never mentioned earlier and makes absolutely no sense in an empty restaurant. The way this was communicated was unprofessional and uncomfortable. It wasn’t about the money — it was the inconsistency, poor communication, and lack of basic courtesy. Hospitality should be welcoming, not condescending. Sadly, this experience completely ruined our visit. We won’t be returning and would not recommend this place based on service alone.

One of the best Chirashi Don I've ever had! The wasabi octopus mix on top is delightful. Service is decent. It's a small dining area. We walked in at around 3pm and there were still some tables in use. It's probably even more packed for typical lunch time and dinner.
