I usually hit this spot up since I can never say no to Mexican. I always get a Horchata. One of the best in the city. The other day I died and went to heaven with their Shrimp special. Sadly did not take a picture of the food. It was so good!

I don’t leave reviews often, almost never. La Patrona deserves all the praise. These are by far the best tacos i’ve had in toronto and GTA so far. Small unassuming stall in the flea-market , but the meat was expertly executed. $20 for 4 tacos , $25 for 4 lengua or cabeza (beef cheek) , unfortunately cabeza were not available, perhaps next time. My wife is not into pork, yet she enjoyed the heck out of the carnitas, pastor next time for sure. The price may be looking high at first glance , but the amount of meat on each taco is adequate , and I can safely say it is definitely worth the price(as long as nothing changes) 2 of these tacos will fill an average person with an amazing and authentic taste of mexico. Don’t sleep on this place , all the best to the two lovely dames running it. Thank you

If you’re craving bold, authentic Mexican flavors—La Patrona delivers every time. Their tacos are hands-down some of the best I’ve had in the Mississauga —perfectly seasoned, juicy, and served on fresh, warm tortillas that make all the difference. And the empanadas? Crispy on the outside, loaded with flavor on the inside! You can tell they put heart into every bite. This spot is a must-visit for true taco lovers. Thank you to everyone at La Patrona for such a welcoming and amazing experience.
Incredible Mexican food, owned and operated by a sweet family - it is consistently extremely busy and the food itself is incredible.
I was assisted by Amy, and she suggested a mixed plate with 2 tacos, 2 sopas, and 2 quesadillas. The food came with lime wedges, hot sauce, and it was to die for. The lengua taco was the standout item for me, as well as the steak sopa.
Amy also suggested getting the horchata and it was such a delicious accompaniment to my lunch. The fact that all of this food and the drink came to $25 with taxes is such a treat.
I'll definitely be coming back to eat more of their items! What a lovely experience, I hope they can continue to succeed like this and build a full-service restaurant as a family! There is such a need for an incredible home-cooked Mexican restaurant like this in Mississauga!

Had amazing tacos inside the flea market. The food was very authentic, and there was a lot of meat. It was piping hot, and tasted amazing. There were a lot of local customers which are always a good sign! Will definitely be back again in future!
