We had an extremely disappointing experience with the chaat we ordered today. It was freezing cold — not just chilled, but almost frozen. We literally couldn’t taste a single sauce properly because everything was so cold and hard that it completely ruined the flavor. The curd especially was ice cold, making the entire dish unpleasant and impossible to enjoy.

When I spoke to the person there and mentioned that this is not how chaat should be served, he very casually said, “This is how we serve it.” There was no apology, no concern, no offer to fix it or refund it — nothing at all. The attitude was extremely dismissive and unprofessional.

Chaat is supposed to be flavorful, balanced, and fresh — not something that feels like it just came straight out of the freezer. What we received was completely the opposite, and the service made the experience even worse.

If this is truly how they serve their chaat, then it’s a serious issue. No one expects to be served frozen chaat and then be told that it’s normal. Very disappointing experience and definitely not recommended.

I recently visited Desi Burger. Although I consider it one of the best burger spots in town, I found that they use an excessive amount of sauce, which overpowers the flavor of the chicken patty and egg. I would suggest reducing the sauce quantity by about 70% to achieve a better balance of taste.

Regarding the Samosa Chaat, the ideal preparation should include samosa, chickpeas, a small amount of yogurt, onion salad, and chaat masala. However, they use far too much yogurt, which diminishes the distinct flavors of the samosa and chickpeas.

As for the Falooda, I would recommend that they visit Lahore Pan House and try their Kulfa Falooda for inspiration — it could serve as an excellent benchmark for improving theirs.
