I think a lot of locals like this bakery as their cakes are pretty good- especially the strawberry shortcake! However, everytime I try anything else like the brownies, biscottis or bars that are in the refrigerated section, I’ve ended up tossing them out. They taste like the fridge or have almost a Freon flavour? It’s gross and really off putting. I live in the area so I frequent every so often and it’s happened everytime. Coffee is okay- I would say it’s up to standard with most North American bakeries but too milky and not deep enough flavour for me. Maybe I’m picky as my mom is an incredible baker and nothing ever compares but I’m just wondering if things are stale when I go or maybe a new fridge is needed ?

Out on errands and stopped in on a whim. The staff were so friendly. I loved the baked goods and the coffee was divine. What a great spot for a coffee and sweet treat. Highly recommend.

Regular patron for years. Strawberry shortcake is divine and devoured instantly by everyone. Scones, croissants, pies, even the loaf cake, all delicious. Hands down my favourite bakery in the area, and all servers are knowledgeable and super friendly! Love, and can’t recommend more.

A very nice and consistent pastry shop. Dark Chocolate Raspberry cake is an absolute favourite. The croissants are nice and fresh. We found the Triple Chocolate cake too sweet however that is a personal preference.

This is a very small but quaint bakery that serves all of the faves that people love. You can get your standard bakery items and also some specialty items that you cannot get everywhere. The staff is friendly and service is very good.

Good coffee and Croissants

0 stars if I could, I placed an order for a cake on Thursday for a late Monday pick up. I show up to the store and the cake is nowhere to be found. And I’m not the only customer in the store who’s cake is not there, who has pre-ordered online. I have fully paid for an item, drove 30 minutes to come and pick it up only to be told.” Sorry we don’t have your cake but no worries just pick one of these from the window ( 3 old looking cakes) and we can offer you a free croissant.” How does that fix the issue? I don’t have a cake to bring to a party that I am having. What is the point of preordering and paying ahead? Absolutely awful customer service barely even acknowledging that they did anything wrong wrong just simply oh sorry, but I guess you could have a refund. now I am left scrambling for a cake. Stay far away from this establishment!!

Love their butter tarts and chocolate raspberry cake! Their Easter treats were loved by every kid in our family.

I went in with a friend to buy their strawberry cream croissant which is only made on a special day of the week. We found out that it wasn’t on the calendar for the month and were completely fine with that, planning to buy other items. However, the workers there offered to make us the croissant if we waited a while, and we were able to leave with two of the strawberry cream croissants + some other goodies. They were so kind, and as always, the croissant lives in my dreams it’s so tasty. Highly recommend this bakery. Everything we tried was great!
