BEWARE!!! FRAUD & RACISM. This location took nearly $70 from my credit card and did not deliver my order. I was promised a refund after 10 to 12 days and yet 18 days later, I still have not received it. When I try to contact them they hang up the phone and screen my calls. When I went in person, their employees were belligerent, rude, and I overheard one make a racially derogatory comment when discussing me to another. They told me to wait for the owner and when the owner Kiran arrived, despite me not being aggressive or threatening, she called the police behind my back. I was shocked when the police arrived as I thought we were resolving the issue and the conversation was pretty calm with her. They never even asked me to leave at any point. She thought that because I’m black she could convince them that I was being violent. Thankfully, I recorded everything on video, so the police didn’t buy into their lies about me being aggressive and causing them to be fearful. The police told them that they need to give me back my money or I should take it to the civil court. Turns out when companies do this there are number of ministries you can file the complaint with. I’ll be filing with Ontario Human Rights for the racial discrimination element and also filing with the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement, Better Business Bureau (BBB), and the competition bureau. If you experience treatment like this from them, please exercise your rights as a consumer and report them.
