I had such a lovely time at Mabu Generation in Mississauga! I went with my family, including my two little ones under five, and they have the cutest kids' meals that are really well-rounded with veggies and a sweet dessert. The portion sizes were huge, so we got to take home some delicious leftovers!
We also tried the Taiwanese fried chicken and the hot pot, and let me just say, the seafood hot pot is a total must-try! The dipping sauces were so tasty and really made the meal pop.
I also appreciated the service style – it felt just like being in Asia with the mostly contactless ordering and payment. The vibe inside really transported me to Taiwan! Overall, we had an amazing experience and I can’t wait to go back!

My expectation was way too high for this place and it did not live up to the 4.9 rating (more of a 2 - 3 for me). 1. Taste: Everything tastes so bland it felt like the food was prepared by a high school student with no cooking experience. The rice was soggy and noodle was soggy. We had a party of 4 and ordered 6 dishes and the best dish is… popcorn chicken as it requires minimal skill. 2. Portion: Definitely on the small portion side. 3. Service: The customer service was also not adequate. The server spilled my dish, he looked at the spill and he just walked away. 4. Environment: It’s a really good place for you to go take photos. I am not sure how other people were able to give this place a 5 star but I definitely recommend you to come with low expectation.

If you're wondering why this place is highly rated, it's because they will gift you a free drink in exchange for a five star review on Google. Some of their food is good I admit, but aren't very conscious and careful with cross-contamination and proper hand hygiene.
My group noticed that they touch a lot of dirty things before they serve you your dishes and food. Meaning, they don't change gloves or clean their hands in-between handling dirty dishes, cleaning dirty tables, and handling the payment terminal/cash.
So next time you come here, closely watch how they handle your food and serveware. If you notice that they serve you food, plates, or cutlery without cleaning their hands in-between handling dirty things, let them know for your own safety.
Otherwise, the food is great and the service is decent.

Food was good for the price. Atmosphere was not so ambient. Service was so so. It's hard to understand the waitress because the music was too loud. One waitress was nice but the other one was cold as ice. First and probably the last time going there.

One of THE BEST tai cuisine found in mississauga! I’ve seen this place around but finally got to try it & OHMAN it didn’t disappoint! The atmosphere gives off nightlife & chill vibes with lots of neon decor. You scan QR code & order- && the food comes out pretty fast! Now the food was SOOO good! We got an order of the house special bowl & the beef sizzling plate (WHICH WAS ?). What sold me was the food! Definitely coming again to try out their other dishes!

Should of been more suspicious of the near perfect google score. Check the photos which were posted. I suspect most of these 5 star reviews are the product of consumers wanting a free lemon tea. Food was underwhelming. While the food is presented well the flavour doesn't really live up to the presentation. Went with 5 other people, we all ordered different dishes and no one was happy enough with the food to want to come back. Normally wouldn't bother posting since the food wasn't inedible but felt compelled to post because this google score is seriously out of whack. If you want Taiwanese food this is not it.

Small cafe but the lunch special was impressive for $15.49! Drinks, entree + 2 sides, AND dessert!

This is a cute little Taiwanese place in the Chinese mall near our Chinese super market b-trust!
Entrance is so jazzy and welcoming and I almost thought it was a gaming place.
Was not disappointed at all once I walked all the way in and was seated.
Decor is so cute for which I have pictures .
The servers are on top of their game and service is impeccable.
Nice the food arrived esp the hot pot. The server stayed to dunk all the meat in the sauce and kept an eye to see it was always lit so the soup stays warm and top up the soup too! Was done around three times.
I would def like to go back to try the other food on the menu.
On the table next to us there were many kids and their serving plates caught my eyes which were so cute in the shape of cars and compartments for the food.
The place is clean and parking maybe a challenge right in front of the restaurant but will def find something around the mall.

I don’t want to say anything more, but is this the service quality and attitude of your takeout service? Can’t make the sizzling black pepper and garlic beef rice? No black pepper, no garlic flavor! Can you make me some Japanese beef rice? No, what did you do? Beef rice that smells like Cantonese chicken soup? Chicken soup flavored beef rice! ! ! How did you make it? Are you embarrassed to be a chef? You are so unprofessional! You didn't wash the pot after you made your own lunch, right? You really thought you were ordering takeout and didn’t file a complaint, right? I think you don’t want to open the business anymore!

The beef noodle soup was very flavourful but quite oily. The pork belly rice very good. It was very cold in here, AC turned to 15 degree or something. They had Taiwanese travel food show playing on the TV. Trendy with lots of younger crowd, music playing. Very cute neon decor. Chairs could be more comfortable. Order via QR code on phone.
Parking: Busy parking lot in plaza.

Delicious braised pork belly! Extremely attentive and friendly staff!
Dietary restrictions: I have requested cabbage and broccoli free options due to dietary sensitivities - the request was flawlessly accomodated
Parking: Depending on the time of the day, and your willingness to walk - parking can be difficult/annoying. However, there are plenty of parking spaces around the plaza, and plaza across the street, if you are willing to walk for a few minutes.
