I had the pleasure to dine here yesterday! We were a group of 6, so keep that in mind while you consider my review. The restaurant was easy enough to find, but finding a parking spot was difficult. They were able to accommodate us by merging two tables. After we were sat, we had to buzz for the server to place our order. I believe they were understaffed that night, because the server was nowhere to be seen for the initial 10 minutes, after we were ready to place our order. The food came in quick part from one item. Although our server gave us no cutlery or small plates to share the appetizers, even when we had asked twice. We later got some spoons later with our entrée but not enough for the whole table. We got dosas but chutneys were given to us in a common bowls again not enough for the whole table. Sambhar given was limited, and when asked for refills our server said they didn’t have enough for the day. Why is a restaurant that main dish has to be accompanied by sambhar doesn’t have enough suffice the need of diners. Although they did check in on us once or twice, we had to wait again for the bill. Don’t get me wrong the review isn’t meant to represent food. The food was good and the portions were too but the service along with it wasn’t up to the mark. This review is harsh, and should be taken into consideration by the management of the restaurant. Would I visit this restaurant again? Probably not soon enough.

very poor severance. had to wait 30mins to be seated while a lot of seats are empty but with a lot of dishes from customers who already left. we waited almost 30hrs to be seated in a table with chair full of rice and left over food.
they moved us to another table which was not cleaned.
Left the place for new restaurant.

We went for Saturday dinner and were surprised to hear that Sambhar was out of stock – a first at any South Indian restaurant for us. While the food was good, the experience didn’t feel worth it without extra sambhar.

I ordered a appetizer and entree and kids item. All the items tasted really good. The appetizer hyd gobi can be improved a bit. We were really hoping to eat veg kothu parata which was not present hope they add it to menu some other time. There was very good service from Prabha.

Our server was Prabha with the cutest smile, she was very engaging and her service was as expected, very nice. This was my first time here and this is a very nice restaurant with multiple options and the taste is something unique and different then the usual taste we get in this area. This is my new go to south Indian Restaurant.
I visited Madras Peppers in Mississauga for the first time after hearing about its recent renovation. The space previously housed Bombay Frankie, and I was curious to see the changes. The ambiance immediately stood out. The renovation has given the restaurant a refreshing look, lively yet cozy, with South Indian vibes and a well-set patio area for outdoor seating.
We were in for dinner and the menu looked appealing and creatively presented. We decided to go with Gobi 65, Paneer Chilli Parotta, and Lamb Kothu Parotta. The presentation of all three dishes was impressive. The aroma, plating, and texture raised our expectations.
But the taste didn’t match the first impressions. The Gobi 65 looked great and came with mint chutney on the side. Unfortunately, every piece was overwhelmingly salty. It wasn’t just one bite, it was every single piece. Thankfully, the mint chutney toned it down a bit, but that’s not how the dish should’ve been balanced.
We were hoping the other two dishes would redeem the experience. The Paneer Chilli Parotta and Lamb Kothu Parotta both arrived steaming hot, and again, visually looked perfect. But from the first bite, it was hard to ignore the spice level. Both dishes were intensely spicy to the point of discomfort. I had to order multiple rounds of raita just to make it through. At no point during the order were we told how fiery these dishes were going to be. Some sort of spice-level indicator on the menu—or a heads-up from the staff—would have helped avoid this situation entirely.
This visit left me disappointed. For a place that pays such attention to design and presentation, the experience fell short on taste and communication. I’m not sure I’d be returning unless the team takes clearer steps to inform guests about spice levels or allows for heat preferences when ordering.

Authentic yummy food. Recommend the Indian Hakka dishes especially. Be prepared to wait a while for food as they are understaffed but great kudos to the staff who still run around with a smile but without a breath.

The food is okay but the service is absolutely non existant. There is a bell at the edge of the tables which needs to be pressed to call a server but otherwise no body will bother to check on you, even for water refill you need to press the bell. I had to wait almost 10 minutes for a cup of coffee. They don't even bother to give you forks and knives. I had ordered medhu vada sambhar and it was served to me in a soup bowl I have never seen vadas being served like that before. I am guessing it was because the wadas were not fresh so they needed to put it in a bowl of hot sambhar to make it edible or they were out of plates. The pooris were very small and cold. Horrible and disgusting experience. Pathetic and slow service. It is only suited for takeout don't bother dining in and giving those tips when they can't even serve the food properly.

It was good in the beginning, last time was average, today it was worse too much salt in fried rice cannot put in our mouth complete waste of money and the chicken Biryani was below average even a bachelor's first time attempt to cook Briyani will be better than this restaurant. I had throw the rice and noodles in garbage, If I was close to the restaurant I would have thrown it back at the restaurant counter, the time to travel from Brampton Mississauga is complete waste, how irresponsible these restaurants they put so much salt in food, if you want practice cooking do at home don't run a restaurant.
