First time here. I was looking for a nice beef vegetable soup with no rice or pasta...so chose the Beef Bulalo. It was just what I was looking for. Tasty but unfortunately on the salty side. Could of used less salt. There is a bar and a disco for what seems to be live music on Friday's & weekends. Karaoke on Thursday nights. Service was very, very slow and it was not busy so was a bit disappointed hence the 3 star for service. Other than that was good. I will be back...
What a lovely experience at Maharlikas! As we were the only customers in on a Sunday afternoon, our hostess Kate invited us to play some karaoke while we waited for our order and made us feel immediately welcome. She was super friendly and helpful with describing the menu options, and we truly enjoyed the recommendation of Beef Kare-kare and huge order of delicious spring rolls. We went here just randomly, and glad we did. Right from the entrance we met a smiling gentleman who ushered us in, and then Kay waited on us and was an absolute delight. She gave us a great recommendation on dish to try, since we weren't familiar with the filipino cuisine. Overall highly recommend.
