Tried this place for the first time when I picked up food for a potluck at work- the best chicken, rice and potatoes! Afaf was the lovely lady who served me and she was amazing! Her customer service skills are top tier! Definitely recommend.

Mario’s Restaurant truly delivered top-notch service. I had a party and my caterer canceled on me just two hours before the event. In a panic, I called Mario’s knowing they usually require at least 4 hours’ notice for large orders. They heard my frustration and, without hesitation, stepped in to help.
Thanks to them, the party was a complete success. The food was absolutely amazing I received so many compliments and questions about where it was from.
Hands down, I will be ordering from Mario’s again. Exceptional service and great food:)

I know this place for long time. It used to be very good, classic Portuguese chicken and fish. At some point I think there was change of ownership and the chicken quality was visibly different. Our biggest complaint was that the chicken was undercooked. So we stopped going there for long time. And then we decided to give it a try, second chance. We had an opportunity to talk about the issue with some lady - maybe owner or manager and she assured as that the chicken are 100% well done. So we got the family dinner and to our happiness the chicken was done properly. Again long brake because we moved out from the city, and just recently while shopping in this are we decided to buy again the chicken. Well, it was big disappointment after we arrived home and opened the boxes with food. Yes, the chicken was not eatable- undercooked again. It was too late to bring it back and make a complain. But we will never again try our luck with Mario’s BBQ. Safe the money and disappointment. The food is overpriced and you never know what you getting because we ask for grilled chicken and we got from rotisserie. They don’t pack the food so you can see it. My wife made the order and all of sudden we got the boxes ready to go ??

I ordered the Family Meal #1 ($35) a whole chicken with rice and potatoes and wow, it was incredible! The portion size was huge, more than enough for the two of us, and we even had leftovers to enjoy for multiple meals. The chicken was juicy and flavourful, and pairing it with their sides of rice and potatoes made it even better.
I also bought a bottle of Mario’s Peri Peri sauce, and we practically finished the whole thing with our family meal that’s how delicious it was! We tried the macaroni and Greek salad as well, both fresh and tasty.
The service was just as good as the food! The woman at the front was so friendly and helpful, giving me suggestions on the best way to order so I could get the most value without overpaying. I really appreciated her honesty and customer service. It is hard to come by these days so I really value that.
So glad someone recommended this place to me, it’s a gem, and I’ll definitely be back!

A fantastic take-out place that never fails to please. In a pinch with out-of-town guests arriving today, this Mario's BBQ was able to come through with our order on short notice - an absolutely delicious seafood platter that wowed everyone, Portuguese chicken that's as good as you'll find, and little potatoes that were off the charts! All prepared and served up with a smile at the front counter, and very reasonably priced! We'll be returning soon and often! Thanks, Mario's!!
