The washroom in this McDonald’s is very clean, perhaps the cleanest McDonald’s washroom I’ve done a number 2 in. Floors are clean and dry, toilet paper are well stocked, and toilet is well sanitized.

I was with my brother in the car when he ordered a regular Skor McFlurry. He repeated it three times and even confirmed it at the window. After paying with his credit card, they suddenly said the machine wasn’t working and asked him to pay cash again. They gave him the wrong size and flavor, and when we went back after seeing the card charge had gone through, there was no apology, just attitude and blame. Really disappointing service and poor handling of a simple order.

I had one of the worst drive-thru experiences at this McDonald’s. I clearly ordered a regular size Skor McFlurry, repeated it three times, and even confirmed it again before reaching the window. After I paid by credit card, I was told the machine “wasn’t working” and asked to pay cash instead. I paid again, assuming the card payment didn’t go through.

When they handed me the McFlurry, I confirmed again that it was the regular Skor one — the staff said no, it was a small, and told me I would need to go through the drive-thru line again if I wanted what I had originally ordered. I said “nevermind” and left — but later saw that my credit card charge had gone through.

I drove back, waited 10 minutes, and finally someone came out who first said the payment didn’t show in their system. Only after insisting, she agreed to refund. On top of that, I was told I was given a Birthday Cake McFlurry, not Skor — which was not what I ordered. Instead of apologizing, I got attitude and blame-shifting — saying “whoever took the order must’ve made a mistake.”

No apology, no accountability, just poor customer service and an incorrect order after I confirmed it multiple times. Very disappointing.

I’m only giving 5 stars because I just went through the drive through and dealt with Andrea! Super friendly and attentive and I realized I hadn’t seen her for some time now… she’s precise with taking orders and several times in the past I’ve ordered and it’s wrong so I needed to leave this review for Andrea and requests she stays at this location please and thanks! 😊 lol! Keep up the good work Andrea! Nice seeing you :)

We popped in to get a coke and chocolate chip and double chocolate cookies. Heading back home to Kitchener Waterloo needed a drink. The staff member that served us was very friendly.
