Mogouyan Hand Pulled Noodle 磨沟沿老字号兰州牛肉面 (Square One Shopping Centre)

Great servers it's about only thing saved this lace for us, I lived over seas and eat in markham often , selection is not enough and they do not give a good portion, staff is great though probably mopt service prompt always love them.
Noodles tad chewy more then supposed to be, chilli oil isn't spicy really at all.
For location it's great for service great, if you have never had more authentic you'd love this place but we have and we think it is okay, but would go again because the servers are great and prompt and it's not bad food it's just not up there for us in quality

This is one of my favourite spots in Square One!! I ordered the noodles with deep fried chicken fillet and everything was amazing; the noodles were delicious, the broth was super flavourful, the vegetables were cooked perfectly (not too soggy) and the fried chicken was tender and juicy. 10/10. My only complaint has to be the spring rolls that tasted like the frozen ones from Walmart. They were not bad, but it's a little bit disappointing. Nonetheless, they came with a peanut sauce that was extremely good.
Lastly, it is a nice place to be with your friends or family and all the staff is very kind and helpful!!

First time coming here and I was amazed at how much better fresh pulled noodles taste! I ordered the Mogouyan Classic Beef Noodles at level 1 spice, and they were delicious. My only small nitpick is that the noodle-to-meat ratio is a bit off, since you’ll mostly fill up on noodles, luckily they’re really good! Seating was quick, and the service was pleasant and efficient. I’d definitely come back and would love to try more from the menu!

Portion sizes were a little small compared to the other Lanzhou Beef Noodle places I’d been to. Less variety when selecting noodle sizes as well was also a big negative.

Worst thing was the beef came in these little ground up pieces instead of thin slices like you would usually get at such a place.

The broth was tasty though.

The bowl I received barely had any beef—just scraps and tiny pieces. The noodles were overcooked, and the service was practically nonexistent. Paying $25 for a small bowl of soup with no real beef and a drink feels like a rip-off. I should’ve known better than to expect much from a food court noodle spot.

No complaints other than I picked a dish I didn't like (Dan Dan noodles). Great vibe despite being in basically a food court. Kind servers. Service isn't super fast, but expected mid-tier speed from a place with fresh food being cooked.

We have tried the same restaurant but in different location, the food quantity here was very less compared to other locations.

Tried their signature stir fried noodles with chicken with flat noodles for takeout, price is fair and portion is decent but the noodles were average in taste, not that much chicken pieces, and they were super oily!!! My stomach was hurting all night...

The staff was very welcoming, the service was great. It is generally hard to find vegetarian options at a Chinese restaurant but we were able to see the menu at the entrance and the staff made some good recommendations. We had the tomato noodles, a mushroom starter and Crisy Tofu. Everything tasted great. Service was factastic. Definitely recommend to give it a try.

Visited this spot today inside the food district. It’s a really nice little sitting area with a good vibe to relax and enjoy your meal. The food was tasty, though a bit on the oily side. Unfortunately, they were out of ice so we couldn’t really enjoy the drinks, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, still a pleasant experience and worth a try if you’re around the area!

Noodles were fresh and flavourful! Soup had a good kick at medium heat! Side garlic mushroom and clams were a little small for the price but still delicious!

We used to come a lot before, but unfortunately the quality has gone down. The stir fry noodles were cold and we asked for another one and it was still cold, also more oily than usual.

Noodles are excellent, portions are good. Little bit expensive but its worth it. Wish it was in a location set apart from the mall as I often want to come here without the hassle of finding parking in the crowded lot.
