Starting the long weekend with a delicious lunch at Momiji Japanese Restaurant. It was my first time dining here, and the recommendation came from my father-in-law. The restaurant is small, cozy, and welcoming, with excellent customer service—attentive and warm throughout our visit.

Here’s what we ordered:

🍣 Appetizers
- Aburi Sushi – Chef’s assorted torched sushi
- Salmon Sashimi – 3 pieces
- Botan Ebi – Sweet shrimp
- Chicken Karaage – Japanese-style fried chicken

🍱 Main Course
- Sushi Sashimi Moriwase – A chef’s selection of 8 pieces of premium assorted sushi and 10 pieces of premium assorted sashimi, served with 3 pieces of shrimp tempura and 5 pieces of vegetable tempura.

Every dish was delicious, with impressive quality and freshness. I was genuinely impressed. The Sushi Sashimi Moriwase was the standout—beautifully presented, incredibly fresh, and full of flavor.

I think I’ve just discovered another favorite Japanese restaurant in Mississauga, alongside Tomo Sushi. I’ll definitely be coming back—and next time, I’m trying the sushi boat!

They are busy at the Weekend so I like going there on Monday.

Warm and cozy atmosphere, not too crowded. Friendly staff.
Perfect place for any meal or to celebrate your special occasion.

Monday is the least crowded.

Reasonable price and good quality food.
I recommend the miso glazed cod, soft shell crab, and karage (fried chicken). And maybe a wakame soup (seaweed soup with extra tofu) if you need something warm to enjoy with the food.

The food is incredible, the price is really reasonable. My favorites are Miso Black Cod and Beef Udon, the fish is really fresh and clean. I like Monday vibe because they are not busy. The weekend are usually more busy.

We always come back for the Miso Black Cod and Steak Teriyaki. The Cod is fresh, rich, and absolutely exquisite.
Mondays are our favorite, the atmosphere is calm, relaxed, and never too crowded.

Very professional, kind costumer service, very fresh food, and the staff was very accommodating, helping us out with super fast service when we figured out, due to a misunderstanding, there was no order placed online.

I just ordered some sashimi and rolls, service was prompt and pleasant. What I loved was when I went to pay there was no tip option since it was takeout. That is service. I will definitely dine in to experience the in dining service to leave an appropriate tip.
Food was EXCELLENT. Will definitely be back. And I'm super picky!!

Food is so so, not specially amazing for the price. Volume was good, I did not find any issue with the service. Atmosphere was not that great ( old, tore sofa and menu books). I appreciated free tea.

Amazing place and food!!
